Bode The rising sun shines upon the steeple atop the majestic bluff.
I can describe the scene,
But no words can truly describe its beauty enough.
As the morning mist begins to clear,
The shimmering river is revealed with a stunning view to revere.
In the garden on the bluff,
There's wildlife galore.
There are so many flowers and feeders for hummingbirds and butterflies to explore.
There's American goldfinch,
Bluejays,
Cardinals,
And orioles in sight.
There's an abundance of seed and feed for all,
No need to fight.
There's a cool and gentle breeze,
Bringing fresh air filtered through the breath of the peach,
Apple,
And pear trees.
Frogs frolic in the pond filled with smooth rocks and cool,
Clear water to hop into.
A shady and relaxing space to enjoy the scenic view.
A tiny turtle treks through the grass in flower-filled terrain.
He munches on the red amaranth plant whose seeds are like a nutritious grain.
Throughout the day and night,
The cats prowl the perimeter of their garden home,
While Olive the chihuahua stays alert for when the rascally raccoons try to pillage and roam.
As the day moves slowly into night,
The birds and animals return home and out of sight.
Another beautiful day on the bluff turns into a magical night under the shining stars and glowing moon.
