Five Acred Wood Fables,
Tiago the Toucan by R.
M.
Bodhi.
Tiago is a toucan,
Which is a bird,
That's true.
A bird he may be,
But as a toucan there is only so much flying that he can do.
Tiago and all toucans have only the stamina for short distances of flight.
They expend lots of energy vigorously flapping their wings with all of their might.
So like most toucans,
Tiago travels among the trees to get around.
Most of his time is spent hopping from tree to tree along the ground.
Tiago yearns to soar through the air.
He dreams of flying for flying for hours with gusto and flair.
Tiago has studied flight and aerospace engineering theories.
He has reached out to scientists with many of his scientific questions and mechanical queries.
Tiago has gathered and repurposed all kinds of gold and metal for his latest design.
His vision is to meld the metals together and fuse them with an aircraft propeller and turbine.
Through Tiago's research and experiments he has found a most reliable energy source.
Tiago's fuel is natural,
Renewable,
And environmentally clean of course.
Tiago created his fuel source from vegetables,
Water,
And citrus fruit juice.
The energy created provides more flying power than even an eagle can produce.
Tiago created mechanical metal wings that can be attached to his back.
He made sure that they were locked in place with the buckles from his trusty knapsack.
Tiago,
Like any scientific sort,
Was eager to test his creation to measure and report.
Tiago double-checked his math and added the fuel to his wing pack.
He was feeling excited for his first extended flight as he strapped the mechanical wings on his back.
Tiago turned the turbine on and the wings received the fuel to take flight.
Tiago took a hopping start as the wings began to lift him he held on tight.
As Tiago began to rise above the trees and ground below,
He felt relaxed as he flew freely with such ease and flow.
Tiago was no longer bound by the limits of the rainforest floor.
He was finally able to ascend in the air to explore.
After an hour had gone by,
Tiago was still in the sky flying high.
Now it's been five hours and Tiago is still soaring with ease.
He is enjoying the sun on his beak and gliding in the warm tropic breeze.
As the sun begins to set,
Tiago lets out a sigh of relaxing relief.
He feels satisfaction from all of his hard work,
Resiliency,
And self-belief.
Tiago slowly descends to the rainforest floor.
All of the other toucans were excited for Tiago's creation and wanted to learn more.
The other toucans asked if Tiago could make them mechanical wings too.
They wanted to soar in the sky so carefree and with ease like the way he just flew.
The other toucans found resources for Tiago to use so he could expand his operation.
Tiago was delighted to be of service to his community with his most successful creation.
Thank you for listening to the five-acre wood fable,
Tiago the Toucan.
Remember to use your unique power of imagination to find solutions to the challenges in your own life.
Much love.
