Allow yourself to slowly arrive in this space,
Maybe you're seated on the ground or in a chair.
Feel yourself rooted down,
Comfortable.
Release the shoulders,
Hands on your thighs or knees,
Sitting upright and feeling the breath moving in and out.
Maybe inhaling,
Bringing the shoulders up and as you exhale,
Releasing the shoulders down.
Deep inhale and exhale.
Allow yourself to drop into your body.
Notice how you feel.
And as you move inward,
Bring with you the image of what's happening around us,
Outside,
Spring arriving.
And what does that mean for you?
Nature slowly waking up,
Emerging of plants,
Water,
Streams,
Rivers are becoming more active.
Everything is coming alive slowly.
It's taking its time just as it should.
Taking your time as well as you emerge from winter.
Not to be hasty,
Slowly peel away the layers of your winter coat.
See how that feels,
How much lighter you feel.
Imagine yourself as a flower.
Pick a flower that speaks to you.
See the bud emerging from the mud.
See it blossoming slowly into a beautiful flower.
See the petals opening,
Spreading.
Feel the sun shining on you.
Feel yourself moving with the wind.
Feel the lightness.
Feel the energy of renewal.
And stay here with this feeling.
Keeping this feeling and this image of your beautiful flower being.
Start to bring your attention back to the space that you're in,
Maybe the chair or ground you're seated on.
Maybe wiggling your fingers and toes,
Deepening your breath,
Moving outward again,
Noticing sounds around you.
But before you completely move outward,
Notice how you feel in this moment and take this beautiful feeling with you as you move outward slowly.
Watch yourself emerging back into the space.
And take your time to come back fully,
To maybe open your eyes.
But if you'd like to stay here,
Feel free to keep your eyes closed.
And if you're ready,
Open your eyes gently.
Still keep this image of yourself as this beautiful flower and see what it will take to keep nurturing this flower yourself for growth,
To bloom even more.
Take a nice deep breath in through the nose,
Exhale through the mouth.
As you move back into your daily life,
Remember the beautiful flower that you are that hasn't fully emerged yet.
Much love to you from my heart to your heart.
