Negative thoughts can fill our minds and impede on our ability to think positively and rationally. Let's work together to release negative thoughts while relaxing the body, bring calmness, comfort and positivity back into your life.

Take a few moments to find that comfortable position just a few moments to allow yourself to slip into comfort,

To shuffle around in this time which is yours and during this safe comfortable time I want you to do nothing more than listen to the sound of my voice because nothing more is needed nothing more is expected from you right now as you follow the sound of my voice you'll continue to find your own way of relaxing a little bit more in each and every moment,

Although I'll encourage you and I'll help you to become more relaxed,

More rested during this time which again is your time,

But for now just be comfortable,

You can adjust your body position when and if you need to and then relax more as you follow the sound of my voice and allow any other sounds in the background to fade away as you rest here comfortably just listening,

Becoming aware of any other noises around you deciding in that same moment that for now these noises will just serve to help you to relax even more any noises that you may hear they can be acknowledged,

In that same moment they can be allowed to drift away your attention is not needed on them right now but on you in your growing calmness and comfort your relaxation developing,

Your body relaxing and in time too,

Your mind quietening down,

Relaxing and being comfortable all around you in this moment there is safety all around you,

Stillness for this time is your time time for you to appreciate,

To enjoy,

To become familiar with this level of comfort familiar with calmness familiar with this inner relaxation which you can allow yourself to drift slowly ever deeper into all around you,

Quiet and comfort all around you,

Safety and stillness a time for you to enjoy,

To be at ease just letting go of all concerns leaving them outside the door and anything you were doing before you began listening to me that can simply wait because you're more important far more important than whatever it was you were doing and you're beginning to realize this beginning to realize your own importance and as you realize how special you are as an individual how special you are with your own unique talents and gifts and skills your own attitudes and abilities your own morals,

Your ethics your opinions and the many other facets of your life which make you the very individual person you are you can in this moment recognize your successes your abilities your ever present ability to learn and relearn whatever it is that's needed to help you at any stage on your life's journey now as you listen to my voice i want you to take two big deep breaths allowing each breath to relax you even more just breathing away any remaining tensions breathing in calmness and bringing your attention once again to the sound of my voice and noticing how comfortable your body feels right now i want you to take a few moments in your mind to scan your body for any areas of tightness tension or discomfort,

However slight and then to release those feelings simply allowing those feelings to fade away imagine the sensations just fading away,

Leaving behind comfort and give this a few moments and then bring your attention back to the sound of my voice and then you can scan your body once again from the top of your head all the way down to the soles of your feet and any tensions,

Tightness or discomfort however significant or slight you can allow them to fade away to slowly fade into a nothingness a gradual steady process of tension,

Tightness or discomfort just vanishing,

Fading away like a wisp of smoke in a gentle breeze like a snowflake in the palm of your hand fading like mist over a lake as the sun rises fading away like an echo in a remote valley fading away to a nothingness for in these moments there is nothing needed as you just simply listen to the sound of my voice and then once again scan your body but this time,

Scan it for the most rested the most comfortable part of you the most quiet and still part of you scan your body for the muscle or the joint which feels the calmest the most comfortable at this moment and let that comfort and that calmness spread outwards to the rest of your body like a gentle ripple in a quiet pool let the calmness gently ripple out from that area of most comfort to pass and flow through every part of you all easily and gently all by itself without any demand without having to try too hard and then once again bringing your attention back to my voice and back again to your body noticing the comfort noticing the gentle breathing pattern your body has developed all by itself and in its own time you didn't tell your breathing how to be so calming and comforting it did it by itself the rest of your body can and will follow this gentle soothing pattern of letting go in a natural,

Comfortable and welcome way and as your body calms and relaxes you'll notice too that your thoughts can slow down your mind can continue to slow down as you become more familiar with this steady welcome release and as your body relaxes,

It encourages your mind to relax too so for now,

I want you to bring your attention back to the sound of my voice and let that relaxation of mind and body continue for a short while in its own way just releasing and relaxing releasing and relaxing and remember the more you do this,

The easier it will become the more familiar the comfort in all parts of your mind and body will become your body and mind just recognizing that this calmness,

This comfort has a positive effect,

Not only on body and mind but on emotions and feelings too for your learning not only to relax mind and body but also thoughts,

Feelings and emotions there is no need to allow negative emotion to build to develop to restrict your ability for clear,

Positive,

Rational thought feelings and general well-being for this short time,

If there is anything that would deny or delay the continuance of you relaxing mind,

Body,

Thoughts,

Feelings and emotions then just allow it to be released because this is your time,

This is a quiet time for you to bring balance and harmony back into your life and your thoughts just as your body relaxed,

So too can any negative feelings and the wonderful thing about doing this is that it doesn't have to be difficult it doesn't have to be complicated in any way just as we relax our bodies and fall into sleep at night our mind and emotions too find their own way to relax to switch off,

To put things in perspective and to bring the resources of mind and body together to help solve and resolve issues,

Worries,

Concerns over your life's issues or events in this relaxed state,

I want you to be aware that a thought,

Any single thought is but a tiny fraction of what's going on in your mind in your life,

At any given time one idea has to share mental time and space with many other ideas and concepts and a thought,

A single thought is only as big as the energy we put into developing that thought you can decide how big your thought becomes you can decide how much emotional energy you put into that thought and you can decide how to limit the energy it consumes from you because you are the master of your own thought processes and very often it's so easy to allow our negative thoughts to almost run away with us and if this gallop of emotion is left unchallenged by ourselves it can soon have us developing other worries,

Which feed off the first worry which makes the whole thing all consuming contaminating our thoughts both day and night bringing no release,

Contaminating all of our positive thoughts reducing them,

Fragmenting our positive thought patterns reducing any positive effects but we can not only control this gallop of negative emotion we can reduce it,

Diffuse it,

Manage it learning to manage the negatives in our thoughts and feelings as simply as we control the tensions within our body and we do this by learning,

And relearning and practicing ways to reduce them only ever putting more energy into solving challenges when there is new information or new circumstance so I want you to imagine your emotions and thoughts are like inflated balloons now the more we put into them,

The more room they take up as individuals we must learn to release some of the energy that's put into the problem we need to deflate it and by sharing this time with me now listening to me now you're allowing yourself to do something different to learn a new way an aid in your journey for gentle change so in the quietness of your mind right now I want you to let some of those negative balloons deflate slowly nothing rushed there is no demand,

There is no right or wrong way I want you to allow each breath you breathe out to release some of the issues you may be carrying and let each breath you breathe in bring with it further calm to your mind and body adding an extra level of comfort to your thoughts for as you allow those balloons of negativity to deflate you're allowing more room within your thoughts for positive thought patterns to be developed and to be enjoyed you're creating an inner calmness and comfort a return to balance and harmony feeling refreshed and calm perhaps a feeling of being unburdened as you release a welcome return to some positive thoughts positive feelings,

Good emotions and while this may take a little while to feel familiar again perhaps almost feeling like you're dropping your guard it will bring with it positive thoughts and feelings a growing,

Strengthening realization that you are indeed in control of your own thoughts and that level of control determines how much energy you allowed to be used in managing situations in life I want you to always remember you have the control over mind,

Body and emotion and it feels right,

It feels good and each and every time you share this time with me each and every time you listen to these ideas I'm suggesting you bring not only more calmness and comfort to your mind,

Body and emotion but also more control a greater familiarity of new positive thought patterns a sense of being unburdened a calmness,

A comfort at the deepest level you may notice too,

That your confidence and comfort develops in many areas of life you can relax more quickly,

You can enjoy life you can feel stronger in mind,

Body and emotion because you're on a calming gentle journey a journey of gentle positive change and you know,

Deep down,

At the very deepest level of you each and every time you practice this simple exercise when you choose to quieten your thoughts and relax in this way you can continue this process further allowing your internal energy to be placed more into positive solutions positive thought patterns and as you relax in this way not only are you bringing calm,

Control and balance to you you're allowing the harmony and balance to refill that all important emotional energy we all have and that we all need as human beings allowing greater well-being in your mind and body a greater sense of self-control a feeling of improved confidence and increased self-esteem and self-worth and all of this by trusting yourself by allocating time for you for allowing the mind and body to work together in this gentle,

Welcome,

Relaxing way it feels right,

It feels good so I'd like you now to bring your attention once again back to the sound of my voice and in a moment you'll hear me count from 1 to 10 and on the count of 10,

You can gently open your eyes again on that count of 10,

When you open your eyes,

On the count of 10 you can feel warm,

Comfortable,

Calm,

Relaxed confident and determined having successfully taken this important step on this pathway towards new beliefs 1,

2,

3,

Coming up a little bit more now 4,

5,

6,

Bringing back a sense of awareness 7,

8,

9,

And 10 eyes open,

Wide awake,

Take a nice deep breath,
