Hello,
Welcome.
In today's experience,
We will cultivate awareness of sensations together.
Let's begin by taking a slow look around with your eyes at whatever environment is external to you right now.
And if it feels right to do so,
I invite you to close your eyes,
But to do so slowly,
Noticing what it feels like to leave the realm of eyes open and enter the realm of eyes closed.
So taking your time to notice what this transition feels like today.
Take a moment to land here and to observe what are you sensing.
Let's take three breaths at your own rhythm,
Making the exhale longer than the inhale.
Beginning with an inhale.
When you've completed that cycle,
Taking a moment to see how you are.
What sensations are present?
Are there thoughts present?
Remembering it's all neutral observation.
There is no right or wrong,
No judgment,
Simply bringing our honed attention to this moment,
In this body,
To practice noticing sensation,
Noticing what's here and allowing it to be here.
For some of you,
The silence may feel uncomfortable and hearing my voice might bring relief.
For others,
You might experience constriction at the sound of my voice and long for more silence,
Less direction.
It's all welcome.
My question to you is,
How do you know?
What sensations are you experiencing which tell you this preference?
We are practicing noticing what's here.
Raw sensations in the body.
There's no storyline,
No reasons,
Nothing you need to make understandable to another.
Simply being with.
If you have thoughts,
Thoughts can be here.
We celebrate when we become aware of the thoughts.
Let's do three more breaths together,
Where the exhale is longer than the inhale.
And this time,
I invite you to place awareness on the transition from inhale to exhale and exhale to inhale.
When does the inhale end and the exhale begin?
What does this between space feel like?
So placing awareness here,
Beginning with an inhale.
When you've finished your cycle,
Letting your breath return to its natural rhythm.
Where is your awareness?
Again,
There is no right,
Wrong,
No judgment,
Simply observing.
Now that our awareness in the realm of eyes closed is more attuned,
Let's invite in the light of source,
Creator's light,
God consciousness,
Whatever word feels aligned with the unnameable force which created and breathes us all.
Let's invite this divine light into our body.
So with each inhale,
Divine light enters.
Filling you with peace.
Filling you with spaciousness.
Filling you with vibrancy.
And with each exhale,
Inviting whatever is ready to leave,
Stagnant energy,
That which no longer serves your highest good,
Inviting it to return to the earth through your feet,
Where she will transmute it into fertile soils for new life.
So fresh divine energy joining your body with each inhale and releasing whatever is ready to release on each exhale.
In this way,
You are renewed.
Your energy is subtly,
Gently realigning with source.
Your physical body,
Your energetic body,
Your emotional body,
Your spirit.
And as you breathe in this divine light from source,
From God,
From creator,
I invite you to continue our practice of sensing in the body.
What sensations do you notice?
What does this connection,
This light feel like?
And can you feel where your body is making contact with the surface?
It's important as divine light breathes with you,
You remain fully in your body.
Rooted in the physical.
This is where we need to be.
This is where we remember who we truly are.
This is where creator's light guides us in our divine bodies.
Knowing that you can stay here as long as you'd like and that you can return here as often as you'd like.
I thank you for choosing to cultivate this awareness today.
And I invite you to thank yourself now,
In whatever way feels right,
For being here in this practice.
You can bring anything from the realm of eyes closed with you as you transition into the rest of your day.
And when it feels right,
With as much awareness and slowness as when we began,
I invite you to gradually open your eyes,
Noticing what it feels like to return to the realm of eyes open.
Thank you for being here.
Go well and rooted into your day.
