This gentle practice invites you to connect with your deepest truth and plant a seed of intention, your Sankalpa. Through stillness, breath, and heartfelt awareness, you’ll be guided to listen for the quiet knowing beneath the noise of the mind. Your Sankalpa is not a goal or wish, but a remembrance of who you already are and what you are becoming. With each breath, you water this seed—allowing clarity, alignment, and purposeful action to unfold from within.

Find a comfortable seat.

Relax your shoulders,

Your face.

Allow your hips to be heavy towards the earth.

Turn your left hand palm up in line with your heart.

Place your right hand on top of your left palm facing down.

Clasp your hands softly and cradle your heart's desire.

Close your eyes.

Turn your sight inward towards your heart.

Soften the space between your eyes all the way back to the spot in the center of your brain,

The third eye,

The seat of all knowing.

Draw the breath in and feel the convergence at the midbrain as if two streams become one.

See a soft light there,

The supreme radiance within.

Let this light soothe your midbrain.

Feel the light expand as if you were swallowing it whole,

Taking it to your heart and let it fill up that area.

And then listen.

What is the message you receive?

Find a secret place in your heart to hold these words and repeat them to yourself three times.

When we allow ourselves to hear these intentions from our heart,

From our center,

When we set our sankalpa,

Our intention,

We bring more focus,

More attention to what it is we need,

To what it is we need to achieve,

And thereby redirect our energy to where it needs to go.

And as we do,

This intention will take form as we set it into action with our words,

Our deeds,

And our thoughts.

Feel that intention radiate throughout your whole body and allow yourself to be there to see the change as that intention is put into action with your words,

Your deeds,

And your thoughts as you move forward today.
