Namaste!
My name is Raman.
Let's prepare yourself for a restful and deep sleep.
Allow your day to dissolve.
Sleep happens when we are completely relaxed.
So there is no need to try to fall asleep.
Just let go and relax.
There is something strange about sleep.
It does not happen when we try too hard.
So no trying,
No wanting,
Just resting.
Remember,
There have been times when you didn't sleep well,
Yet you managed the day just fine.
If sleep comes,
Let it come.
If not,
That's fine too.
Now gently close your eyes.
And it's perfectly okay if you fall asleep during this meditation.
In fact,
That's natural.
Now make sure you are very,
Very comfortable.
You can lie down on your back,
Or on the side,
Or some other pusher that you like sleeping in.
Now take a few slow,
Deep,
And conscious breaths.
And gently release the tension of the day with each out breath.
Now let your breath flow in its natural rhythm.
Feel your body resting.
Notice the weight of your body on the bed.
Feel the support beneath you,
Holding you gently.
Now let's relax the body,
Part of the body.
Now let's do it part by part.
Bring your attention to your legs.
Notice any tension in your thighs,
Knees,
Calves,
Or feet.
If you feel any tightness,
Gently let it go.
Feel your legs becoming heavy and relaxed.
Now shift your attention to your hands.
Notice your fingers,
Palms,
Wrists,
And arms.
If there is any tension,
Softly release it.
Let your hands rest comfortably,
Relaxed.
And at ease.
Now move your attention to your head area.
Relax your forehead,
Your eyes,
Your jaw.
Let your face be soft and calm.
Feel the relaxation spreading through your scalp and neck.
Now bring your attention to your breath.
Feel the natural rhythm of your breath.
No need to change anything.
Just observe and notice.
If you get lost in thoughts,
That's okay.
It's natural.
Whenever you realize you have wandered away,
Bring your attention back to your breath.
Now let go of your attention on the breath and feel the stillness,
The quietness within.
Enjoy this state of rest and relaxation.
There is nothing to do,
Nothing to achieve.
Just relax and rest.
Let yourself drift into deep relaxation.
If sleep comes,
Welcome it.
You are safe.
You are at peace.
You are deeply relaxed.
Now I will stop talking.
This calming music will allow you to drift into a peaceful sleep.
Have a very restful sleep.
