Just beginning to set yourself up to find a comfortable seat.

Any seat that feels right for you today.

Starting to settle in as we explore the Muladhara chakra today,

Our root chakra.

So really all about grounding but today also searching for a little more safety and support within.

So let's allow these first few breaths to be a little more deliberate and a little more purposeful than perhaps the ones you've been already taking today.

Deep breath in,

Feel the lungs expand.

Pause at the top.

Slow,

Soft breath out.

Again,

Deep breath in.

Pause.

Exhale.

Once more like that,

Inhale.

Pausing.

Slowly,

Softly let go.

Just continue.

Letting the lungs empty before they refill.

Feeling how the body is responding.

Soft,

Calm,

Release.

Noticing if there's anywhere you're holding on.

Begin to let go now.

With each exhale,

Feeling the fluctuations of the mind begin to settle.

Feel your sit bones grounding.

A touch,

Gentle pressure of that connection from yourself to earth.

Feel that support.

Just start to feel into this connection.

Imagine roots,

Much like a tree,

Growing from your base into the earth.

Imagine these roots slowly weaving through the ground surface towards those deeper layers.

These roots from your base,

Deeply moving towards the center of the earth.

Letting your roots be embedded into the earth's core.

You are connected.

Let yourself feel this.

To be one with earth,

With this planet.

To be connected to its depth.

Feel the support.

You are safe.

Letting your roots be embedded into the earth.

What does it feel like to be secure?

Stay there.

Stay connected.

Stay connected.

Stay connected to this state of mind,

To this state of being.

This space you have created for yourself.

Begin to meet yourself back here.

You are beginning to notice that rhythm of breath,

The stillness,

The silence,

The space.

Feel the lungs gently inflate and you are breathing in and out.

As they deflate,

Feel the center of your chest lifting.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Heart lifting.

Inhale.

Let go.

Holding this with you as you need,

When you need.
