Welcome to this guided foundational chakra meditation practice.
Go ahead and find a comfortable posture.
Sitting tall and upright with your spine lengthened,
Your shoulders rolled and relaxed,
Or you may choose lying down.
Whichever you feel in this moment.
Rest your hands in your lap or beside you.
And gently close your eyes.
Let's start by taking a few deep,
Soothing breaths.
Breathing in through the nose,
Holding the breath at the top for a moment.
And then breathing out slowly and gently.
One more time.
Take a long,
Deep breath in through the nose.
Hold at the top for a moment.
And release the breath out slowly and with steady control.
And now,
Allow the breath to return to its natural,
Soothing rhythm.
As you continue to rest peacefully.
You are not worrying about anything.
You are not allowing your mind to race.
You are slowing down,
Allowing your mind to relax.
You are giving your body and your mind the gift of relaxation.
As your body relaxes,
So does your mind.
Give yourself permission to surrender to this mindful rest.
Feeling peaceful and calm.
A constant balance between chakras promotes health and a sense of well-being.
If the chakras are unbalanced or if the energies are blocked,
The basic life force will be slowed down.
You may experience fatigue,
Stress,
And tension in your body.
We will start by healing our root chakra.
This chakra represents the foundation of life and a groundedness to withstand challenges in your life.
Take a moment to notice your feet.
Feel the ground beneath your feet.
Allow yourself to connect with Mother Earth as you observe the contact points between your body and the ground beneath you.
Does Mother Earth have a message for you?
If so,
Allow it to come to you now.
Give yourself permission to receive this message.
Gently shift your focus from your feet to the base of your spine.
Imagine a ball of glowing red energy.
It slowly swirls and begins to expand.
As we will work with the root chakra,
Take a moment to ask yourself the following question.
Is there something in my life that is making me feel ungrounded,
Uncensored,
Or unstable?
Trust Mother Earth that you are within her support and that she has your back.
Within her embrace,
You are protected and secure.
Allow this swirling ball of red energy to grow as you repeat the following affirmations to yourself.
I am accepted as I am.
I am protected in this world.
I am rooted in the present moment.
Now,
Gently shift your awareness up to just below your belly button,
Where your sacral chakra is located.
This chakra represents your emotional stability and confidence.
Imagine a glowing orange ball of energy here.
As you rest here peacefully,
Visualize standing before a beautiful ocean.
Feel the waves gently lapping against your feet.
Making you even more relaxed.
Take in the nourishment of this life force energy as this orange ball of energy expands.
Allow yourself to relax and trust Mother Earth to take care of everything that you may need in this moment.
Gently shift your awareness up to the area below your breastbone where your solar plexus chakra is located.
This chakra represents self-esteem and willpower.
Invite a glowing yellow ball of energy to be present here.
With every new breath,
Allow your solar plexus to soften and expand on your breath.
Continue to imagine the ocean.
Enjoying the waves.
Relaxing your body.
Soothing your mind.
See the waves gently begin to calm down.
As the sun shines brightly above you.
Warming your skin.
Allow the rays of the sun to enter the yellow ball of energy in your solar plexus.
Allowing you to set free all unhealthy belief systems and self-imposed limitations.
Release them now.
And free yourself to step into your highest potential.
Shift your awareness to your heart chakra,
Right in the middle of your chest.
This chakra represents unconditional love and self-development.
Softly place your hands on your chest and take a deep breath.
As you exhale,
Imagine a green ball of energy expanding from the center of your heart.
Enveloping your entire aura.
Allow your heart to take what it may need in this moment.
Your heart chakra has a message for you.
Listen and receive.
Continue to allow this green ball of energy to expand.
Allowing you to set yourself free from all your pain,
Hurt and fear that has been holding you back.
Shift your awareness up to your neck,
Where your throat chakra is located.
This chakra represents creativity and self-expression.
Imagine a glowing ball of blue energy swirling and expanding.
Allow your hands to rest on your chest and ask yourself the following questions.
What does the truth mean to me?
Is it time to set myself free,
To speak truthfully and live authentically,
To be aligned with my purpose?
Take a deep breath.
And as you breathe out,
Let go of all falsehoods that you have ever told about yourself or others.
Repeat the following affirmations to strengthen the balancing of your throat chakra.
My words are powerful.
You I am able to calmly and lovingly speak my truth.
I am an essential voice in the world and my voice is heard.
Now shift your awareness to the center of your forehead between your eyebrows,
Where your third eye chakra is located.
This chakra represents our vision and perception,
Our state of enlightenment.
Imagine a glowing ball of indigo energy expanding softly.
Relaxing you deeper.
Take a moment to observe how you may perceive your current reality.
What is your vision for your future?
Where may you wish to be in 10 years from now?
What may be standing in the way of you achieving your success?
Take a deep breath and allow your third eye chakra to tell you what it needs to.
On your next breath in,
Shift your awareness up to the top of your head where your crown chakra is located.
This chakra represents the pursuit of spiritual peace.
Imagine a glowing ball of violet energy here.
Glowing and expanding.
As you take another deep breath.
Feel the energy from your crown chakra connecting to the sky above,
To the earth below,
And to everything in between.
You are becoming one with existence.
Rest in this awareness for a moment.
Feeling peaceful and clear.
Repeat the following affirmations to strengthen your connection to your crown chakra.
I accept who I am.
I can control my beliefs.
I am divinely supported.
I live in the present moment.
The world is my teacher.
As this practice comes to an end.
Begin to slowly come back to your surroundings.
Coming back into your body,
Feeling peaceful and relaxed.
