Welcome to this guided meditation.
Begin by finding a comfortable position,
One where your body feels fully supported and at ease.
You may be sitting or lying down,
It doesn't matter which as long as you are comfortable.
Gently close your eyes.
Notice the points of contact between your body and the surface beneath you.
Feel how the earth supports you.
How it cradles you.
Inviting you to let go of all tensions.
Take a deep breath in.
Slowly.
Purposefully filling your lungs with fresh air.
Hold it for a moment at the top.
And release,
Exhaling through your mouth,
Letting all the air out along with any stress or tension.
Let's do this again.
Inhale deeply,
Feeling your chest rise,
And exhale fully,
Feeling a sense of release.
Now,
Shift your awareness to the rhythm of your breath.
You don't have to change anything.
Just notice how your body breathes naturally.
Feel the cool air entering your nostrils on the inhale.
And the warm air leaving on the exhale.
Each breath is an opportunity to become more relaxed,
More present.
As you continue breathing,
Start to imagine that with every exhale,
You're sinking deeper into the surface beneath you.
Your body is becoming heavier and more relaxed.
The surface beneath you is solid and secure and you are connected to it,
Grounded.
Allow your body to relax completely.
Begin with your toes,
Letting them become soft and relaxed.
Move to your feet.
Than your ankles.
Allowing each part of your body to release and relax into the surface beneath you.
Continue this process up through your legs,
Your torso.
Your arms.
All the way to the top of your head.
With each exhale,
Release any tension,
Any held energy,
Any stress.
By now,
You should be feeling calm,
Peaceful,
And completely relaxed.
Grounded by the surface beneath you.
Your mind is clear,
Your body is relaxed,
And you are ready to focus on your root chakra.
Now,
It is time to turn your focus inward,
To the very base of your spine.
This is where your root chakra resides.
The root chakra is your connection to the Earth,
Your foundation.
It's a beacon of strength,
Stability and security.
Visualize this area as a glowing,
Vibrant red light.
This light is akin to the core of the Earth,
Warm,
Powerful and nurturing.
As you breathe in.
Imagine this light becoming brighter.
Its energy intensifying.
Let your every inhalation stoke this energetic flame,
Empowering its radiance.
As you breathe out,
See any blockages,
Any fears or insecurities being released and carried away on the breath.
They're being replaced by the warmth and strength of your root chakra.
Feel this warmth as it begins to spread throughout your body.
It travels up your spine,
Infusing each vertebrae with a sense of stability and strength.
It moves down through your legs,
Anchoring you to the ground,
Making you strong and immovable,
Like a large tree with deep roots.
This energy fills you with a profound sense of security and connection to the Earth beneath you.
Now,
Allow your breath to become synchronized with this glowing light.
Inhale,
And the light expands,
Brightens.
Exhale,
And any remaining fears,
Doubts,
Or insecurities are purged,
Replaced by the grounding energy of your root chakra.

Responding to this energy,

Take a few more deep,
Purposeful breaths,
Focusing on that vibrant red light at the base of your spine.
Feel its energy,
Its warmth.
Know that this is your center of stability and security.
It's always there,

To give you strength.
And when you're ready.
Gently bring your awareness back to your body.
Carrying this grounded energy with you.

Start to bring your awareness back to your surroundings.
Feel the surface beneath you.

Return to this space,
