Welcome to this meditation practice.

My name is Joyce and thank you so much for sharing your time with me today.

Today we are going to do a very simple exercise and that is the body scan.

The body scan is to focus your attention on different parts of your body so that it relaxes your muscles and also your mind.

Let's begin to settle in.

Find a comfortable position either sitting or lying down.

Close your eyes.

Feel your body supported by either the chair beneath you or the bed you're lying on or the yoga mat that you're lying on.

Relax your head.

Your eyebrows.

The area in between your eyebrows.

The muscles on your cheek.

Your lips.

The tension you're holding in your throat.

Your neck.

Your shoulders.

The left and the right.

Your arms.

Your forearms.

Your fingers.

Your chest.

Your stomach.

Your neck.

Your lower body.

Your heart.

Your thighs.

Your calves.

Your feet.

Your toes.

Every part of your body.

You you you and your mind wonders off at any point gently bring the attention back to the present moment gently bring your attention back to the room your attention back to the room that you're in you've done a good job start wriggling your fingers your feet and every part of your body this is the end of the meditation practice thank you for joining me today I hope to see you again soon you
