You have come a long way.
You are tired and you tried someone to talk to.
And yet every time when you think,
You don't really know who to call.
You learn from past experience that no one truly understands you.
No one completely gets you.
All they try to do is to impose their own views on your problems or they just brush it away or they try to tell you don't dwell on the sadness when you know that already.
But you don't know how.
You don't know how not to dwell on the sadness.
And because they don't understand you,
Telling them the problem will only make things harder.
You eventually feel exhausted for even mentioning that you feel sad.
And eventually,
You just close that part of you out until it becomes so,
So hard to dig it back out when you want to heal.
You feel more and more estranged from anyone else.
So much so that even when you speak to someone in person,
You feel as if there is a translucent wall encasing you of which you cannot seem to break through.
And so,
You actually feel the least tiring to be lying in your bed under the blanket and when you are not talking to anyone.
And it is okay.
It is okay like that.
It is okay to be lying in your bed under the blanket.
I get that.
I have been through it myself too.
Even though our cases could be very well different.
That feeling of even getting out of bed is as if we are pushing so hard against the current.
That feeling of being on our own planets and no one else.
The feeling of maybe just not even feeling anymore.
And it is okay.
It is okay like that.
Just know that you're not alone in fighting this depression.
You are not alone in feeling so alone.
You're not alone feeling that you have lost the fight every day when you're forced to put up a fight when you don't even want to.
Just know that you will eventually get there.
I don't know when.
I don't know when for you.
But I know eventually you will.
Because I got out of it despite having felt like I have lost all hopes in life.
And so,
I know you could do too.
And the fact that you're listening to this audio already is a step closer to pulling yourself out of this abyss.
