Supposing you lived in a culture where everybody wore dark glasses,
Kind of heavily dark glasses,
Even on rainy days or the darkest day of winter.
And everybody felt like a little bit down with wearing these dark glasses.
And,
But they didn't really know any better.
And when kids were two or so,
They got their,
Their,
Their were initiated into the dark glasses culture.
And they,
They were really happy to be like looking like the grownups now.
So they happily took on their dark glasses,
Even though they noticed that they didn't feel quite as happy.
But that was a small price to pay for,
You know,
Joining the club.
So everybody was walking around in glasses in this culture.
And a few people,
I don't know,
They felt particularly frustrated with the way their lives were going.
And they realized that actually,
They could take these glasses off.
Now,
Some people did this and,
And,
You know,
Got sort of scorned or even put in psych wards.
But other people kind of found a way to take off their dark glasses without anybody fussing too much.
And as they did this,
They saw the wonder of the world.
They saw the wonder of the creator's world and how luminous it is here and how beautiful and how we're all divine beings in human form.
We're just here learning.
It's like our soul's idea of play.
And they,
You know,
Tried to tell the rest of the people,
Say,
Hey,
Hey,
Listen,
You can take these dark glasses off.
And do you know a few did,
But a lot of people were scared to because they,
They,
They didn't think that really,
It was possible to even though they were seeing these people who weren't wearing them saying,
Hey,
Look,
Life's life's good.
But they felt that they weren't sort of good enough to do it,
Or they weren't strong enough,
Or it might,
You know,
They might have trouble like earning a living.
And you know,
They were,
They had kids and you didn't want to rock the boat.
So they kept their dark glasses on.
So I'm sure many of you know,
I'm talking about the ego and what is going on here.
Now,
Our ego comes on it too.
And it comes from our culture and our,
Our emotional climate of our families.
And it's also influenced by previous lives.
You know,
The Eastern sages say this,
And this is my experience too,
Because I don't know,
Some of you might notice your siblings,
That everybody seemed to grow up in a different family.
Everybody remembers different stories.
Everybody has differing opinions about what went on as children.
And the only kind of explanation that makes sense to me is we're all influenced by our past lives.
And so that influences the way we see things.
So we're all walking around with these distortions,
You know,
The way we look at things,
But we think our way is the right way that we're just the only sane person here on earth.
And why don't why doesn't everybody agree with us?
Like,
I know this well,
In myself.
But as you,
You know,
Begin to realize that you're very influenced by your,
Your ego,
Your conditioning,
And that true reality might be a little bit different,
And that you might be happier.
If you,
You know,
Turned up the light in the dark glasses,
A few shades,
Like just opened up to the possibility that this world is really loving at root.
You know,
I have a story to tell about somebody who was kind of like wearing dark glasses,
You know,
With Alma,
I study with Alma.
So you can ask her questions.
So maybe there are 10 or 20 questions allowed a day.
Because she's busy hugging people all day and answering other questions about her charities and everything.
And I was in this case,
I got number 17.
And a woman came up to me and was complaining that she was devastated,
Really,
Because she hadn't got a number for the for the question line.
And she had cancer,
And she was really upset.
So I said,
Hey,
Look,
Take my my ticket,
You can have a question night 17.
And she said,
Oh,
17.
That's she'll never get that far.
She'll never,
You know,
It'll be stopped before that.
I said,
Well,
Maybe not,
You know,
We could try.
She said,
No,
There's no point.
Well,
So I went in the question line.
And of course,
I got she asked,
She answered number 17 questions,
She answered my question.
So I was so felt so badly for the woman in in the sense of how much she did create her own reality with the negative spin on the opportunity to ask a question that might have really helped her health.
Because I'll tell you,
There are just the number of miracles around Alma are off the charts.
And I think we will eventually get round to our cultural eventually get round to admitting that maybe miracles are possible.
Okay,
Anyway,
Bless your hearts and may your if you feel like you're looking through dark glasses,
May they get several shades lighter just listening to this video.
And may the power of your heart shine clear and true in your lives.
Okay,
Bless your heart.
