One of the great things about getting older is you stop caring about what other people think and you get to sort of step away from your culture a little bit.

And you might be able to see the lines of the culture and how it keeps people in prison.

I mean all cultures do this to some extent.

I mean they organize our lives but they also imprison us.

So if you wake up to how your culture is imprisoning you,

You can stay in the culture and find your freedom.

So that's why I'm making the video.

Like for younger people,

You know,

You might be able to step away from your culture a little bit and come back to your own heart,

To the wisdom of your own heart.

Where the secrets of your life are,

You know,

Kind of the blueprint of the life you were born to have is in your heart.

So when we can step back from the culture a little bit,

We become freer to be ourselves.

So this video is really dedicated to all the peoples who feel that they have to fix themselves.

I think especially women labor under this,

But I think more and more men are.

But right now I see more women and they just try to fix themselves in every direction.

Really I'm laughing but actually it strikes me as just the saddest thing.

It's sort of like a rose trying to become,

Trying to perfect itself like it is already perfect.

Yeah,

So you know there's the Botox and everything,

All the facial things and you know that's great I guess if we want to do that but it does become a mask and sometimes a face of character is the most beautiful thing.

Yeah,

In fact I think it is far more beautiful than the mask of Botox but you know I'm older so you know maybe I think differently but I don't think it's because I'm older,

I do think it's because I'm wise that I think this way.

But women also they tend to try to fix themselves internally a lot.

They start from the premise that there's something wrong with them and this is really why I'm making this video because you know a lot of women I see with beautiful bodies,

Beautiful hearts and they're walking around feeling like a dish rag really,

A worthless bit of flotsam and jetsam.

And this really worries me because first of all it's held to live that way and second of all it's hard to instill our kids with their sense of worth if we're not feeling worthwhile but then you know I hesitated to say this because I know moms can feel so guilty.

And so it's another you know another thing on their shoulders that they have to do you know think well enough of themselves in order to instill self-confidence in their kids and that's not the point of the video it's to really I want to touch your hearts.

I really want to touch your hearts and just affirm that you're beautiful the way you are.

I don't care how badly you're thinking of yourself or what you think you're doing wrong.

We're all human.

We're all human and sure you know we can't you know go play on our everybody's got a dark side and if you go and play in your dark side you cause a lot of havoc so that's not what I'm talking about.

I'm talking about just please accept yourself.

It's you're beautiful.

You know when every older woman I know when they look back at their photos of themselves when they were young they go oh I was beautiful I didn't know it.

You know and it's it's like it's too bad.

I mean it's good not to be puffed up if you're beautiful but you know to just have confidence in yourself and to know that you're okay and that you're valuable.

You know I used to make this joke to my mom and it was like excuse my face and it was kind of like our little joke about how females walk around not feeling that they're allowed to really be in their female.

You know and we do have a patriarchy and I think we don't realize how much we're we're doing that to ourselves but you know it's it's all good.

I just please just if you can from this video just get that you're beautiful the way you are and just take some deep breaths and relax into yourself.

And if you do that if you take some deep breaths into yourself and relax and just know you're okay that you're entitled to be here.

You don't have to be perfect.

Then you'll become more beautiful.

That's the secret.

Yeah.

So if you can learn to step back and observe your inner dialogue a little bit because truly you know I think we've got inner terrorists inside often that are telling us really terrible things.

And we need to really observe that and give that over and allow ourselves to be shown the beauty of who we really are.

So may all the power of the love that comes through me come to you right this moment and strengthen your true nature and remind you of your beauty whether you're male or female.

Yeah.

Okay.

Bless your hearts.
