Trilochan knows well how to be a warrior—how to fight for good or bad and how to deal with struggles. But Premasudha explains that walking a spiritual path means transcending this pattern and shifting into an easier way of living, free of fighting and struggling. The spiritual path follows a certain rhythm: first we find it, then we lose it, but eventually our vibration rises and we begin to live more within the light. Using our mantra, repeating what has worked before, and trusting the guidance of a spiritual teacher will help us reach that place. The ego will resist and create fear, warning us not to get too close to our own heart. Yet the heart is where the real transformation happens. In the end, no amount of fighting can replace the quiet courage of simply staying with the process and allowing ourselves to be where we truly belong.
