
Night Time
Sleeplessness at night can arise from fear of change. We balk at entering the unconscious state because we are holding on too rigidly to the status quo. Insomnia can make us irritable the next day as well. Better to embrace our sleeplessness and just meditate. This helps us connect with our true self and brings peace. No wonder the Sufis described sleepless nightime, as a University, where we can clear blocks, surrender and open to a higher consciousness.
