You know,
Sometimes the truth is sort of so plain and ordinary it can be underestimated or discounted.
But I hope you don't do that with this because I really want to tell you a secret about how to be happy.
And it's to accept how you're feeling as a baseline.
I see more and more people trying to fix themselves and coming to themselves from the outside and judging themselves for their thoughts or their emotions.
But don't do that.
It's kind of a little fascist,
You know,
You don't want to do that.
It's like be with your states like you would be with a toddler,
Like maybe a difficult toddler.
Like,
You know,
The thing that works is,
You know,
If a toddler is throwing a temper tantrum,
You don't,
It doesn't work to like begrudge the toddler the temper tantrum or to feel,
You know,
Oh,
This child's throwing a temper tantrum,
It's embarrassing,
It's more work.
You just accept the child's throwing a temper tantrum and because you accept it,
You take appropriate action.
And it's sort of like,
You know,
Okay,
Just pick the child up,
Put it on your hip and,
You know,
Start dancing around the room.
It doesn't,
You know,
It doesn't have to have a big fuss around these things.
You don't have to have a big fuss about the way you're feeling.
Just treat yourself like you would a difficult child.
So you know,
Just,
You know,
What works as a parent is you start with the acceptance of the child being in the state it's in.
You just have to start there.
Any mother knows that you just accept and then deal.
So it's the same with yourself,
Accept and then deal.
So you know,
I mean,
If you've got like,
You know,
If you feel angry or hating or whatever is bothering you about your state,
Just make room for it.
Just accept.
That's how you are today.
It's like the weather of the day.
Your emotional state is like the weather of the day.
Okay,
So accept.
So you know,
Then maybe take some action around.
Okay,
You know,
With the anger you could,
You know,
Give it over to the universe or,
You know,
You know,
Move into observing your state.
You can do an inquiry of,
You know,
Where,
What is the root of this anger?
There's,
You know,
Many,
Many ways to deal with that.
You can go get in the car and scream,
You know,
Or write an angry letter and burn it.
Like whatever.
Please don't,
You know,
Don't judge yourself for emotional content,
Especially for people who have had a spiritual awakening or are on the journey because the emotional content will,
It'll,
Once that top is off,
You know,
Material,
Deeper material comes up and sometimes it's like shocking,
You know,
The rage or whatever is coming up,
You know.
So you're not bad.
It's just,
You're purifying.
You're purifying.
It's all good.
So just try to accept your states.
Don't try to fix yourself.
Like you're,
You're a human being.
And our emotions are part of our data.
It's part of our intelligence.
And sure,
Dense emotions are very unpleasant,
But if you fight,
Fight your state,
It just makes it worse.
So be good to yourselves and treat,
Treat your emotional state like,
You know,
A toddler who's being difficult and just be patient,
You know,
Go get ice cream,
Whatever,
Whatever it takes.
Remember,
You're,
You're brought in human form and your state,
I mean,
You're valuable no matter how you're feeling or thinking,
You know,
Um,
If you have a lot of negative thoughts,
That's not going to be helpful for your life.
So you,
You want to gently take action on that,
Observe them and start maybe trying to be more constructive,
Thinking more constructive thoughts.
But you're not bad ever,
You know,
You're a divine being in human form.
I mean,
You're,
You know,
It's pretty perfect.
And certainly if you're on the spiritual journey and,
You know,
Interested in purifying it and freeing up your,
Your true nature,
That is about as,
As good as a human being gets.
I mean,
That's how perfect,
That's about how perfect we can be.
You know,
If you take it far enough,
You can become like a self-realized master and then,
You know,
You're,
You're really a gift to humanity.
But anyway,
So just please,
You're very worthy of love.
You're very lovable now.
Okay.
Whatever state you're in.
Okay.
Just,
You know,
Think of yourself as just a toddler.
Yeah.
Okay.
I'll see you in the next one.
Bye.
Bye.
Bye.
