You know,
After many years on the journey and hanging out with spiritual masters,
I can say that the Creator loves the innocent heart.
So do authentic teachers.
They love it when they spot an innocent heart in a student,
Because it means the student will be open to learn.
They're not,
You know,
They're not going to have to clear a thousand layers of hard shell of distrust.
With the innocent heart,
The true nature of the person shines right through.
And in a way,
Even if there's,
The ego can be heavy,
But the true innocent heart will shine through.
And if the teacher can see it,
Then,
You know,
That person can go a long way on the journey.
It's much harder for people who are too tricky,
Too shrewd,
Too defended,
Too disillusioned,
Too worried about their pride in their image.
Really,
Pride is a big one,
You know.
Those things make it harder to evolve.
And coming back to pride,
You know,
It is in the ancient,
In ancient times,
It was,
It's considered,
For a long time,
Pride has been considered like a sin.
But it's sort of like,
You know,
In the spiritual journey,
It's like a love affair with the Creator.
And in true love affairs,
You can't have any pride.
It doesn't work at all.
No.
A true lover will not let their pride get in the way of their beloved,
Of a relationship with the beloved.
And the same thing works with the Creator.
Now,
Our era,
We're such a sophisticated,
Worldly era,
So that's the challenge.
But,
You know,
Your heart is,
At root,
Your heart is innocent.
And innocence is the most powerful energy in the world,
Because it's the Creator in you.
Yeah,
Your innocence.
Probably the quality where you feel like,
Oh,
You feel like,
Oh,
You're too naive,
Or you're too nice,
Or anything.
But really,
It's your innocence shining through.
And sure,
You know,
You can learn to be,
You know,
Take care in the world,
But take care of that innocent quality.
And if you're on the journey,
It's a big accelerative card,
If you've got it.
