Make sure you're in a comfortable seated position or reclined position.
Let's begin with three collective breaths together.
So deep breath in through your nose.
And as you exhale,
Big sigh out and allow your bones to land in the space that you're in.
Another breath in to fill up.
And as you exhale,
Allow yourself to land within your own body.
Another breath in to fill up this container,
This body of yours.
And as you exhale,
Soften within the space that you're in in the body.
And just allow your next few breaths to flow in and out with ease between the body and your space.
Now that you have arrived here in your body in this space,
Allow yourself to begin to feel more grounded by growing roots from whatever is making contact with what is underneath you,
Being a chair,
The floor.
Allow roots to grow from your back body or your seed in your legs down deep into what is underneath you,
Supporting you.
Allow these roots to go deep and wide and far to connect you with what is underneath you,
Supporting you here now.
Maybe you even allow these roots to reach to where I am sitting here with my voice.
So roots going across time and space.
Wherever else you want these roots to reach.
And as your roots continue to go deep down wide and far beyond time and space,
How does it feel in your body to receive this support and this nourishment?
How does it feel to be grounded right here,
Right now?
And as you stay here receiving the support of these roots that are going deep,
That are going deep and wide and far,
Crossing time and space.
Repeat this mantra for five breaths.
As you inhale,
I am.
As you exhale,
Supported.
I am supported.
I am supported.
And then you can gently let go of the grip of this mantra but know that it is still humming underneath.
As you step away from our meditation in a moment,
Know that this mantra and these roots are still within you and present,
Humming underneath the rest of your day.
