Welcome everyone to a relaxing sleep meditation for anxiety,
Calm and deep rest.
Tonight's story is about the magical path at midnight.
Before we begin,
Just a slight reminder that if you do enjoy this meditation,
To go give a rating at the end,
As it helps this meditation to grow.
Let's begin.
For the next little while,
There's nowhere you need to go.
Nothing you need to solve.
Nothing you need to finish.
Tonight belongs only to you.
Therefore,
Allow yourself to settle comfortably into your bed.
Let your head become heavy against your pillow.
And let your shoulders soften.
And if your eyes are still open,
You can gently close them whenever you are ready.
Take a slow,
Easy breath in through your nose and gently breathe out.
Again.
Breathe in slowly and breathe out even more slowly.
Imagine that every breath out carries away a little tension.
You don't have to force anything.
You don't have to make yourself relax.
Simply allow your body to remember what relaxation feels like.
Your forehead softens.
Your jaw loosens.
Your shoulders sink gently downward.
Your arms become pleasantly heavy.
And your hands rest quiet.
And your breathing begins to find its own peaceful rhythm.
Tonight,
I want to take you somewhere special.
A place that appears only after the world has gone quiet.
A place hidden somewhere between walking and dreaming.
A magical path.
That appears only at midnight.
Imagine yourself standing inside a cozy little cottage.
Outside the window.
The night is calm.
The clock has just reached midnight.
Far away,
You can hear the faint sound of an owl calling through the darkness.
The room around you is warm.
A small lamp cast golden light across the floor.
And beside the window,
Something unusual catches your attention.
A tiny silver glow.
You move closer to the window.
Outside,
Beyond the garden gate,
There is a path you have never seen before.
It winds between the trees.
Soft blue lantern float above it.
Not hanging from anything,
Simply floating,
One after another,
Like little stars showing you the way.
For some reason,
You are not afraid.
You feel curious,
Safe,
Almost as though the path has been waiting patiently for you.
You wrap yourself in the softest blanket you can imagine and step outside.
The midnight air is cool,
But gentle.
It brushes your cheek like a soft feather.
Above you stretches an enormous sky filled with stars.
And the moon is so bright tonight that everything seems touched with silver.
You walk toward the mysterious path.
As soon as your foot touches the first smooth stone,
The nearest lantern becomes brighter.
Than the next lantern.
And the next.
One by one,
They lit your way,
And you begin walking,
Slowly.
Peacefully.
There is no need to hurry.
With each step,
You notice something strange.
The worries you carry during the day seem to become quieter.
Thoughts about tomorrow drift further away.
Little conversation,
You replied and your mind began losing their importance.
Your only job now.
Is to follow the lanterns.
The path leads into a beautiful forest.
But this is no ordinary forest.
The leaves shimmer faintly in shades of blue,
Violet,
And silver.
Tiny glowing mushrooms grow beside the path.
Firefly float lazily between the trees.
And somewhere nearby,
You hear the gentle sound of water.
A tiny creature suddenly pops its head out from behind a tree.
It looks almost like a rabbit,
Except its ears are far too long,
And its fur glows softly like moonlight.
It looks at you.
You look at it.
For a moment,
Neither of you moves.
Then the little creature gives you a surprisingly serious nod,
As though saying,
Yes.
You're going the right way.
And then,
It hops away.
You smile.
Perhaps this midnight path isn't quite as serious as it first appeared.
And that feels good.
Because tonight doesn't need to be serious.
Tonight can simply be gentle.
Magical.
You continue walking.
The sound of water grows closer.
Soon,
The trees open into a quiet stream.
The water glows faintly beneath the moon.
Smooth stone from little bridges across it.
As you step onto the first stone,
You notice words glowing beneath the water.
The first word says,
Breathe.
You breathe in and slowly breathe out.
The second stone glows.
Release.
Imagine releasing one worry.
Just one.
You don't need to solve it.
You simply place it gently into the stream and watch it float away.
The next stone glows.
And suddenly,
Your body feels even heavier against your real bed.
Your breathing becomes softer and your thoughts become slower.
You'll reach the other side of the stream.
The path continues upward towards Little Hill.
At the top stands an enormous ancient tree.
Branches stretch wide beneath the stars.
Thousands of tiny lights glow among its leaves.
As you approach.
You realize the lights are not fireflies.
They are tiny dreams.
Some glow gold.
Some blue.
Some soft pink.
Some silver.
Each one holds a peaceful dream waiting for someone who needs it.
You sit beneath the tree.
The grass feels so soft beneath you.
And one little dream,
Light slowly floats down.
It hovers in front of you.
Inside the light,
You see something simple.
A quiet morning.
Sunlight through a window.
A warm drink?
Someone laughing.
The feeling of waking after a wonderful night's sleep.
Nothing dramatic.
Nothing complicated.
Just peace.
The little dream drift towards you and gently settles over your heart.
You feel warmth spreading through your chest.
And for tonight.
.
.
You realize you do not need to carry tomorrow.
Tomorrow will arrive when it arrives.
You are allowed to rest before you meet it.
Another dream light floats down.
This one carries every worry that tried to follow you along the path.
It gathers them carefully.
One by one.
The unfinished tasks.
The uncertain answers.
The things you cannot control.
Things you wish you had done differently.
The things that may never happen at all.
The little light gather them together.
And floats upward into the tree.
Higher.
Higher.
Until you can no longer see them.
Notice how much lighter you feel.
Your body is resting safely where it is.
Your bed supports you.
Your pillow supports you.
You don't have to hold yourself up anymore.
Let the bed do the work.
A magical path is still there.
Lanterns still glowing.
But you don't need to keep walking tonight.
You have reached exactly where you were meant to be.
Beneath the great midnight tree,
Under a peaceful sky,
Surrounded by tiny dreams,
The moon slowly moves across the sky.
The force becomes quieter.
The glowing rabbit has curled up beneath a nearby fern.
Even the fireflies seem sleepy now.
One by one,
Their lights begin to dim.
And now your breathing becomes slower.
And out.
Slower still.
There is nothing waiting for you in this moment.
No decision.
No problem.
No expectation.
Only rest.
Imagine the soft midnight blanket of the sky settling gently around you.
Warm enough.
Safe enough.
Quiet enough.
The magical path will remain here all night.
You don't need to remember the way back.
Whenever you need it.
It will find you.
But for now,
Allow the story to become blurry.
Allow the forest to fade.
Allow my words to drift further away.
You don't need to listen carefully anymore.
You don't need to follow every sentence.
You can simply rest.
Your eyes are heavy.
Your face is relaxed.
Her shoulders are loose.
Your hands are still.
Your legs are heavy.
Your whole body is now resting.
And somewhere beneath that great midnight tree.
One final little dream light is glowing just for you.
It begins drifting closer.
Slowly.
Quieter.
Until it reaches you.
And as it touches you.
The light becomes warm.
The warmth becomes calm.
And the calm becomes sleep.
You are safe here.
You can let go.
The day's finished.
The night is yours.
And nothing more is required of you.
Sleep peacefully.
And whenever you're ready.
Follow the magical path into your dreams.
