Kwan Yin Mantras With Soundscape

Kwan Yin Bodhisattva, the merciful and compassionate Celestial Bodhisattva is dearly beloved to Chinese people all around the world. In recent decades she has found many more loving devotees in western countries as well. For although he/she could attain Buddhahood and rest in the liberation of Nirvana, she chooses to remain in order to assist others along the Path. Famous for being aware of, or listening to the cries of suffering beings with great compassion, many people find solace in offering prayers and devotions in her name. In this track there are some slight variations of three of her more simple mantras. Chanting by Ajahn Achalo with accompaniment by his student khun Noppadet, music performed and arranged by Christopher Conway.
