Quiet.

Letting go and flowing.
If you haven't already done so,
I invite you to find a comfortable position wherever you are seated or lying,
So that we may become quiet and rest and flow and let go.
Breathe and let go.
Breathe thoughts of the mind to become quieter.
Breathe and allow yourself to be transported into the secret place of the Most High,
Where we can touch the stillness.
Tap into love.
Tap into hope and faith.
Tap into healing.
We touch the stillness with our mind.
Touch the stillness with our being.
Touch the stillness with the breath.
Breathe and let go.
Breathe,
Breathe.
With the next in-breath,
Imagine you're breathing in a color.
Allow that color to come to mind without forcing or judging.
And with the next breath,
Imagine that that color is a swirling mist.
Light,
Iridescent.
And feel that mist in your mind.
Feel that mist dancing around your feet and relaxing your feet.
Imagine that colorful mist swirling around your legs,
Erasing all tension from the knees,
Swirling around your thighs,
Your hips and your pelvis.
Every breath,
The mist dances and swirls and erases all tension.
This swirling mist dances around your abdomen,
Dances its way up the spine,
Across the back,
And every part of the back totally lets go and relaxes.
Breathe.
In your mind's eye,
See this swirling mist dancing around your stomach,
Your chest,
And your neck and shoulders as the shoulders fall from around your ears and you totally relax and let go.
This swirling mist is moving around the torso and the lower body and the feet and it feels so good to let go.
And now this dancing,
Colorful mist makes its way down the arms,
Towards the elbows,
Down to the wrists,
Rests in the hands and the fingertips and every vestige of tension disappears.
With your next breath,
Imagine this mist swirling around your head and as it touches the corners of the mouth and the corners of the eyes,
As it touches the ears,
Nose,
And forehead,
The back of the head,
The crown of the head,
The whole of your body lets go.
And now this colorful,
Dancing,
Swirling mist trails up and down around the body and you are totally relaxed.
With your next breath,
Check your body and if you are holding tension anywhere,
Exhale to that place now and imagine the dancing mist erasing that tension easily and completely and return the attention to the breath.
If there are still thoughts scrolling across the screen of the mind,
Just breathe and let go without judging the thoughts as right or wrong or trying to push them away.
Just notice and return your attention to the breath.
Breathe,
Let go,
Go with the flow and without struggle,
With great ease,
You find yourself in the chamber,
Secret place of the most high and all around is stillness,
All around is light,
All around you is love.
You are touching the stillness and the stillness is touching in you.
And so in this quiet,
Focused attention,
Place of peace,
We rest in the stillness,
In the silence.
Breathe and gently begin to bring your attention back to this present moment.
Relaxing,
Yet aware of the gift that has been given to self,
Becoming alert yet remaining relaxed.
You feel grounded as if there is a cord extending from the crown of the head,
A luminescent light and trails of roots moving through the base of your feet,
Anchoring you.
You are grounded and steady,
Alert yet relaxed,
Blessed by the gifts that come from extended time in the stillness,
Touching the stillness and the stillness touching in you.
You return joyfully,
Brightly to the activities of the day.
