Welcome to this session for self-love.
My name is Paula,
And I am honored that you have joined me today in this meditation practice.
Please find a comfortable place where you can be alone and relax.
You may want to have your head fully supported so that all of your muscles can let go,
Unwinding any tension as you begin to take a nice big breath in.
And hold it for 5,
4,
3,
2,
1.
And now let it go.

Let your muscles unwind,
Relax,
Letting go of any tension you may feel in your body.
Again,
Breathe in.
Feel your lungs easily expanding.
And breathe out very slowly.
Let it go.
Good.
On your next breath in,
Focus on the breezy sound of the air.
And as you exhale,
It sounds like a wave crashing on the shore.
Again,
Breathe in through the nose,
And hold it if you can for just a moment.

And breathe out.
Slowly close your eyes if you haven't already.
Notice how you feel right now.
Witness your thoughts floating in and out.
Notice how you're breathing.
It's slowing down.
And feel your heart rate.
It's at a nice resting rhythm.
Observe how your mind is wandering around a bit,
But that's okay.
Now bring into your mind someone you truly love,
And see this person you love clearly in your mind's eye.
Witness what changes are occurring in your body when you think about this person.
Where do feelings of love occur for you?
Perhaps in the chest and the heart,
Or maybe a cozy,
Warm feeling in your tummy.
Wherever you feel love that you have for this person,
Let the sensation begin to travel throughout your body,
Filling your heart and lungs with love.
Imagine their hug around your shoulders,
Feeling their love pressing into your chest.
Imagine the person you love wrapping their arms around your neck as they hug you.
Let your neck relax,
Feeling love here as well.
Let this feeling of love spill down your entire back,
A gentle sensation of love flowing through all your muscles.
Unwinding any tension along the way,
You may be experiencing a gentle sensation,
Or maybe it could be very strong.
Whatever you experience,
Allow it.
It is okay.
This love is spreading down into your hips and pelvis,
Showering you with love.
Feel this same love in your legs,
Grateful for all the places that they have taken you over the years.
You are being showered in pure love all the way down to your toes.
Allow the image now of that special person to come into your mind,
Someone you love deeply,
Someone you respect and honor.
See them smile.
Hear their laughter.
Feel their hug once more.
Breathe in deeply and smell their scent.
The love you have for each other is powerful and extremely relaxing and comfortable.
Feel it traveling all the way from the top of your head down to your toes,
Grounding you to Mother Earth.
Feel how your entire body is surrounded by love.
Now I want you to bring into your mind the thought of a full-length mirror.
And you see your reflection in the mirror.
And the eyes that you are looking through are not your own,
But you are looking through the perspective of that special person that you love unconditionally.
Imagine that you can see your reflection in the way that they would see you.
How do you feel about yourself right now?
Let that feeling of perfect love expand into your head.
Your eyes,
Your ears and your nose.
Even your mouth and your words all feel loved.
Welcome this wonderful sensation of pure love.
Your powerful mind is being filled with the truth of love.
Now look back into that beautiful mirror and see yourself as you.
And feel how you love yourself more than anything in this world.
You are determined to treat your body right by being healthy,
Making healthy choices on a daily basis.
You are passionate about thinking positively and having a good outlook on life,
Which pushes you towards your dreams and goals.
Just then your reflection speaks to you.
They are telling you a very personal message about something you need to know,
Advice you are urged to follow.
Listen and hear what they say.
These words and images go deeply into all levels of your awareness to be remembered forever.
Now reach out your hand to your reflection and notice how your hand goes through the mirror.
You are stepping into one another,
Becoming one.
Feel the sheer love you have for yourself.
All the times that you've gotten through,
All the memories that you've made with others.
You truly love yourself just as you love that special person that you hold dear.
Wonderful.
Now returning to your breath,
Inhale slowly and deeply,
Hearing the sound of the air coming in and out.
You are ready to spread your love to others because you love yourself first.
Now gently opening your eyes,
Coming back to the present moment,
Sending you love and light dear souls.
