Hello dear listening friends,

How wonderful that you are here and have chosen to tune into this session to achieve endless deep relaxation and enjoy all the other benefits sleep can bring you.

My name is Paola Pizzut and I welcome you to this guided sleep meditation where the focus is on you becoming infinitely deeply relaxed so that you can quickly fall into a deep,

Healing,

Restorative sleep.

Because deep,

Relaxing,

Healing sleep has amazing benefits for you.

You have every interest in letting go and shift into a state of deep sleep after an accelerating day in which you have been exposed to all sorts of stimuli and impulses which makes it really necessary now to put all that behind you,

To leave all this behind and progressively release all physical and mental tension and gradually fall asleep.

While both your body and mind are steadily relaxing at a deeper level,

You're actually entering a state of deep,

Healing sleep.

And this kind of sleep helps your body,

Among other things,

To recover from the efforts of the day.

But much more happens in this beneficial state of rest.

In this state of deep relaxation and healthy sleep,

Your immune system is strengthened,

All your muscles and tissues are repaired,

And your mind comes to complete rest.

In addition,

The stress hormone cortisol,

Which is a prerequisite for waking up fresh and calm the next day,

Is reduced.

This strengthens your memory,

Sharpening your concentration,

And you will feel more emotionally stable.

So please,

Start resting as soon as it gets dark.

Start at least about 30 minutes before bedtime,

Because this helps your body produce important hormones which promote your recovery and overall well-being during the night.

The more you allow yourself to drift off,

The more your body can fully surrender to recovery and rejuvenation.

Your mind becomes clear and your body feels light and energetic.

Moreover,

You're more creative and flexible.

It's easier to break away from old patterns,

Which makes you much more likely to see new solutions with fresh eyes.

Therefore I invite you to unwind.

You deserve more than anyone else to wake up rested,

Calm,

Clear and full of energy.

And if there's one thing I hope for you,

It's that you give yourself that wholeheartedly and that you allow yourself unconditionally and give yourself every possible permission to immerse yourself in sleep and peace.

To surrender to it completely,

With the aim of enjoying all the wonderful benefits that healthy sleep can bring you.

So many reasons to simply surrender to slumber.

Sleep is extremely rewarding and you may choose to reap all the advantages.

And what is really quite extraordinary,

Interesting and fascinating at the same time,

Is that sleep is a completely natural and rewarding medicine that you give yourself.

And it's free.

Because it's yours.

And it's there because of you.

And you realize,

Perhaps only now,

Fully,

That it's a pure and clean medicine with no side effects,

Which,

When used consciously,

Contributes to your own healing and recovery.

Without having to read an obscure leaflet about it,

Which is available without prescription or medical advice,

And is therefore a remedy that is truly within your reach.

Because you've fallen fast and deep asleep countless times in your life,

And your subconscious knows how to do it so well.

This is the part of you where all your memories are stored,

Including those of deep relaxation and sleep.

And you can use this part of you as your inner guide to find your way to a deep,

Restorative,

Carefree state in the foreseeable future by completely trusting yourself and your past and present experiences of dozing off and falling asleep.

Allowing my voice and the words that you will find and hear here unconditionally support and assist you to immerse yourself in a seemingly endless relaxation,

Culminating in this blissful,

Tranquil journey where you can drift deliciously into that wonderful,

Deep,

Healing,

Restful sleep.

From today,

Let your sleep completely heal your body and mind.

When you reach this stage,

Stay in that state of deep rest.

Cherish yourself in it,

Knowing that you are initiating your own recovery and promoting your own health.

And it all starts with the important fact that you are lying pleasantly.

Take the time and space to make yourself as comfortable as possible.

There may be one small thing that has slipped your mind that you need to do before you can truly surrender to the endless relaxation that awaits you.

If necessary,

Pause this recording and return to it afterwards.

And when you're lying down,

Gently close your eyes.

Allow the area around your eyes to become completely soft,

As if your eye sockets were warm beds for your eyes to sink into,

As if your closed eyelids were the comforting warm blankets telling you that the day is over and that you can and should rest.

It's about time and your eyelids cover up for you everything that doesn't need your attention right now,

So that you can turn inwards and surrender to more and more relief.

For you are freely giving yourself permission to melt away into repose,

Recognizing that this is simply necessary because it contributes to your healing and recovery.

And it is this realization,

This awareness and consciousness that makes it easier for you to make the choice to allow yourself to rest and relax.

Who knows,

It may be a discovery or a revelation that this kind of self-care is essential,

That for your own well-being it's vital to be there for yourself and therefore for others.

Your eyes closed,

Secure and covered by your own eyelids,

Which act as a safe warm blanket,

Creating all the space you need to feel your body making contact with the bed,

With the soft surface.

For a few seconds,

Be aware of where your bed supports your body,

What support this gives you,

Allowing you to give in effortlessly to gravity.

Your muscles relax as if they were melting a little.

Breathe in deeply through your nose,

Filling your lungs with pure fresh air.

And exhale gently,

Imagining that you are letting go of all the remnants of the day.

Repeat this two more times for yourself at your own pace.

And if it feels good,

Exhale with a deep audible sigh.

This will allow you to let go even more and melt into a state of profound relief.

Your breathing returns to its own natural rhythm.

And involuntarily,

You feel the need for the next level of relaxation.

You really need that soothing feeling that deep release brings.

And you see a beautiful place appear before you,

A place that suits you.

You visualize or imagine it,

And it's a place that symbolizes all the times you've been deeply relaxed in your life.

Perhaps you imagine a gentle meadow surrounded by lush green grass.

Or you might see the image of a calm sea where you can see all the way to the bottom.

Or a wooden chalet in the middle of the Alps,

Surrounded by a breathtaking snowy landscape.

And of course,

It could be any other quiet,

Safe place that's yours alone.

Here,

Alone,

In this place where everything is quiet and where everything contributes to your comfort,

Where you don't have to do anything,

Just be.

Unwind in the calm atmosphere that surrounds you.

Become aware of your increasingly calm breathing.

Notice that your body is becoming heavier with each exhalation.

And feel your head sink further into the soft pillow.

Your arms lie by your sides,

With the palms of your hands facing up,

Allowing your shoulders to relax just a little more,

And melt into the soft surface on which they rest.

Your back,

Bottom,

And legs rest effortlessly on the support,

And this reassurance allows all your muscles to relax further.

And this comes naturally,

Smoothly,

And fluidly.

With each exhalation,

Your body seems to melt further,

To become heavier.

All the muscles in your body loosen and release.

You're fully supported,

And this nourishes and builds your confidence.

And before you,

In your mind's eye,

You see a gently sloping hillside,

A beautiful path leading you down.

Down to your place of personal infinite peace and comfort.

And every step you take immediately takes you deeper into relaxation,

Leading you to transcendence.

Notice for a moment that with each step,

With each symbolic step that you take,

You notice that you are detaching yourself from the day and its worries.

Simply because indulging yourself in self-care,

Rest,

And sleep has immeasurable benefits and contributes inexorably to your healing,

Recovery,

And well-being.

With every step you take,

Your breathing becomes calmer,

And your heartbeat becomes even and gentle.

After which you now spontaneously take the first step,

And observe how a wave of intense relaxation moving through your body,

As if it were flowing lovingly and soothing you.

And you take a moment here,

Naturally,

In the stillness,

To fully perceive the increased peacefulness within you,

As you continue to breathe calmly.

You're ready to take the second step,

Further down,

To the area where you feel infinitely secure.

And just after you've taken this second step,

You will notice that more and more tension is being released in the deeper layers of your body,

As well as your mind,

All by itself.

Because you've chosen to do so.

You've chosen to heal and recover in peaceful,

Serene calm.

As you continue to descend,

You will feel that every step you take,

Every breath you inhale and exhale,

Is bringing you closer to limitless serenity.

The third step follows,

And as you breathe in freely,

You notice how the wave of inner warmth and stillness spreads within you,

And how it also seems to spread out over you,

As if you were covered by a soft protective blanket,

Whispering to you that you can sink deeper and deeper into stillness,

And cherish yourself in softness for yourself.

Your body is heavy and calm,

And your mind comes to rest as all your thoughts dissolve.

An encouragement to go further down,

And to take the fourth step,

And feel deeply connected to the Earth,

As if gravity is guiding you further,

As if it were the solid ground beneath your feet,

As if you were being carried,

Which makes it so easy to simply,

Without shame or embarrassment,

Let the weight of the day slip away,

And at the same moment continue to melt into pleasant repose.

And then,

When you take the fifth step,

You realize that you are actually already completely immersed in deep rest.

Everything in and around you is still.

Your mind is empty,

Clear,

Free of thoughts.

There's only silence,

Only peace,

Only serene calm.

Just feel,

Feel your body completely at ease,

And surrender to this infinite stillness.

And then,

Slowly,

Take a sixth step to reach the next blissful stage,

The stage where you are surrounded and enveloped by a healing,

Soft,

Warm glow that seems to rise from within you as a sign that you can and will surrender completely,

Of trust,

Of confidence.

Relax.

Arriving in the area where expectation and haste have dissolved,

And only the feeling of unfathomable release remains.

The seventh and final step arrived at the point of infinite deep peace,

The point of an inevitably deep state of relaxation,

Where you are completely immersed in limitless blissful tranquility,

Where you feel weightless and carried by silence.

There is no beginning and no end to this stillness.

Everything is as it should be.

All you have to do is keep breathing,

Gently and calmly,

And let yourself be carried away by this infinite ocean of stillness.

Stay here.

Dwell in this deep,

Endless tranquility,

Where your body and mind are completely at rest,

You're safe,

You're calm,

You're at home,

Surrounded,

Still surrounded by the warm glow.

This glow represents the energy of releasing and healing,

And with each breath this energy flows freely throughout your body.

You can become aware of your head and feel the healing energy softens your forehead,

Softens your cheeks and relaxes your jaw,

And naturally all the muscles in your face slide into this healing relief.

The warm healing glow you now feel in your neck and shoulders,

Which feel soft and supported by the subtle energy surrounding you.

The shoulders have to drop down and lie still.

All tension has already flowed away there,

And it's just beautiful to realize that all the weight,

All the ballast has completely disappeared.

Your arms,

Your hands and your fingers rest completely at ease on the support the mattress offers them.

While you breathe calmly and are aware for a moment of the healing energy flowing through your chest and abdominal area,

Your heart is beating calmly,

Steadily and peacefully.

You feel safe,

Secure,

Protected and supported,

And know that your legs feel the same support and backing.

Allow the glow that is within you and that surrounds you to do its healing work there as well.

And you can now observe how relaxed your thighs,

Ankles and calves are,

Right down to your feet,

Your toes.

Sleepy.

Totally carefree.

Endlessly deeply relaxed.

Everything is completely behind you and the need to feel responsible for anything is gone,

Dissolved.

All that remains is for you to surrender to this deep,

Soothing calm.

Breathing gently and breathe out.

And feel how far you've sunk into blissful serenity,

Sinking into a deep,

Peaceful sleep.

And you sleep,

Dreaming,

Noticing that sleep meditation is actually an aid for endless deep healing.

A medicine,

A remedy that you take in,

That you take with you while lying down relaxed,

In the way that suits you best.

Listening to all the wise words and background music as you surrender to slumber.

And it happens so easily,

Ever more easily,

Because you choose to.

A harmless,

Innocent daily dose of meditation just before bed,

Allowing you to fall asleep quietly,

To recover,

Heal and recharge.

A free,

Precious medicine that takes you on a journey,

To take you on a journey to a place of your choice.

A place,

A refuge,

A place of your choice.

A refuge and a sanctuary of peace,

That lies far beyond the boundaries of your daily worries.

And which does it work,

Begins its work as soon as you're lying comfortably.

If you close your eyes as a signal,

The signal you give yourself,

Which triggers this all-natural remedy,

To feel that it's working,

The self-induced,

All-natural medicine begins to work.

Each breath becomes deeper and calmer and your muscles relax,

Becoming more and more languid,

Sluggish and heavy.

The warm glow,

The gentle wave,

The energy you feel inside slowly envelops your body.

Each subsequent breath,

Slower and deeper.

Your thoughts slow down,

Get lost and wander,

As if dissolving into a calm,

Silent,

Infinite sea,

Completely absorbed in a state of perpetual peace.

Coming home,

Because you have allowed yourself to go deeper and deeper and drift,

Drifting into a serene space without end,

Without end,

Where there seems to be no end and you can stay endlessly relaxed,

And where all you experience is the serene stillness of the eternal moment.

Because every shred of tension and restlessness has effortlessly slipped away from you.

You have let it go like sand that slides between your fingers or steam that seeps away.

With each exhalation you have already let go,

To hover or float in this infinite peaceful stillness,

Where the pressure of time is a non-existent idea and where there are no expectations.

But only the inexhaustible,

Deep serenity,

In which you can let yourself be completely absorbed.

Arrived at your safe haven,

Where you feel at home,

Where you come home,

The place where your body and mind can heal,

Recuperate in the most natural form of rest,

Sleep,

Hours of wonderful sleep.

Sleep is like a journey,

An outing,

A trip,

And the other day you wake up refreshed,

Ready for the next thing that comes.

With a deep calm within you,

Still gently echoing,

Resonating within you,

As a reminder of infinite deep rest,

As means,

Natural means for so much more.

From the moment you lied back and closed your eyes,

Letting your eyelids slide over your eyes,

Like a soothing blanket to end the day,

Your whole body settled gently and securely to go exactly where you needed to go.

Go back in infinite deep calm,

In silence,

In sleep.

There,

Where there is never any hurry and no pressure,

Just you,

The now,

And the slumbering sleep,

All by itself your breathing has become slow and very calm,

And all by itself your breathing nourishes you with new healing energy,

Through which you recover and recuperate.

With each exhalation you have let go,

Simply let go.

While your body becomes heavier,

Surrendering to gravity,

Resting,

Resting at the protective support of your bed,

Where it seemed you were slowly sinking into a sea of serene calm,

To which there was no end.

You might also compare it to floating in a boundless blue sky,

In which it is so fast and peaceful,

Endlessly fast,

Its beginning and end far out of sight,

Infinitely spacious,

Like the space of sleep to which you come home,

Where there's only peace and deep rest,

Just that,

Only that.

Sleeping,

Floating in space,

Completely free of thoughts,

Free of worries,

Free of concerns floating through your head,

Gently releasing them,

Letting them dissolve.

They will come back one day later,

But there's no hurry,

So let them slowly drift away,

Like white clouds disappearing in the seemingly endless blue sky.

Doing nothing is the greed,

And everything you need is here,

Is already here,

For sleep is the best medicine your body knows.

The best medicine your body knows.

Your mind calms and your soul recovers without any effort,

Just lying down,

Just breathing,

Just being.

Sleep is a precious free gift,

A gift that greets you every night when you allow and grant it to yourself,

Allowing your body to rest and recharge.

Where your mind seems to cleanse itself,

Sleep,

It takes you to a place of deep inner peace.

All you have to do is allow it,

Grant it to yourself.

Every night allow yourself this chance to renew.

Relax deeply and endlessly to fall asleep quickly.

All you have to do is let go,

Again and again,

And surrender to a space where time melts,

Melts away.

There's no yesterday,

There's no tomorrow,

There's only the here and now.

You are this moment,

You are the embodiment of peace,

Of stillness,

In which you feel safe,

Carried by the stillness and peace that surrounds you.

And it's in this safe stillness that all your alertness disappears,

All expectations dissolve,

And all that remains is pure,

Clean,

Healing relaxation.

Every fibre,

Every cell of your body now feels the call of the healing power of sleep.

And you can already feel your body repairing itself,

Layer by layer.

Your muscles are completely at ease,

Your heart is beating calmly and evenly,

Your breathing is very,

Very calm.

A warm,

Gently pulsating wave of serene energy and peace flows through you from your crown to your toes.

So deeply absorbed and sunk in this state of pure bliss,

Enveloping you in a healing glow of calm.

Sleep washes away all that you wish to wash away.

Every thought you had is now dissolved in the infinite space of sleep.

Here you are free.

Rest,

Recuperation and healing.

Let sleep carry you in its gentle stream of love and care,

Embracing and cradling your deepest being,

Cradling you gently into sleep.

You're now at one with that deep peace.

There's nothing more to do.

Nothing more to think.

Just surrender and be.

Sleep,

The most ordinary medicine of all,

Takes you to a place where you can float endlessly in blissful healing relaxation.

Just trust in the power and wisdom of your body.

It knows exactly how to recover,

How to heal.

It always prefers to heal and recover,

Exactly as it should be.

Everything is exactly as it should be.

You're safe.

You're loved.

You've fallen into a deep healing sleep,

Endlessly,

Deeply relaxed.

Floating in the knowledge that you're doing yourself good.

Let go.

Float.

You drift further and further into sleep and that's fine.

Go on.

Go on.

Let go.

Endlessly at ease.

Drifting into sleep.
