Welcome.
This is Pamela Stahler.
Thank you for being here with me in this moment.
Take a bit of time to get comfortable.
Close your eyes or soften your gaze.
Let the muscles in your face relax.
Let your neck and shoulders soften.
And begin to slow your breathing.
Settle and take in your first impression of our words of wisdom for this session.
Attributed to 14th century English mystic Julian of Norwich.
All shall be well,
And all shall be well,
And all manner of thing shall be well.
Before we begin to delve deeper into these words,
Let's take a few minutes to release stress and soothe our minds with a short relaxation.
Settle into the comfortable position of your choice.
Let your breath be slow and steady.
Let any tension begin to soften.
See in your mind a scene that creates a peaceful feeling for you.
It could be a warm beach,
A meadow of wildflowers,
Or a room that brings up happy or comforting memories.
As you deepen your awareness of this place,
Notice the details.
What do you see?
What sounds do you hear?
What scents do you smell?
What sensations do you feel on your skin?
Let this place fill your heart with warmth and thankfulness.
Remain immersed in this place,
This memory,
Or experience.
And connect with a feeling of gratitude.
Now bring to mind one thing you are grateful for.
It may be something very simple or something profound.
Whatever comes to your mind,
Welcome it.
Feel the warm fullness of appreciation and thankfulness.
Allow yourself to simply rest.
To open.
To be at ease for these next few moments.
Now gently bring your awareness back to these words.
All shall be well,
And all shall be well,
And all manner of thing shall be well.
See yourself in this moment,
Here,
Now,
This.
See that you are alive.
See that you are safe.
See that you are calm.
See that no harm is befalling you in this moment,
Here,
Now,
This.
Breathe in this moment.
Breathe out your thoughts.
Breathe in being alive in this moment.
Breathe out your thoughts.
Breathe in being safe in this moment.
Breathe out your thoughts.
Breathe in being calm in this moment.
Breathe out your thoughts.
Breathe in gratitude for this moment.
Breathe out your thoughts.
Moments will drift away to create the past.
The future will unfold moment by moment.
Each moment,
Here,
Now,
This,
Is the only reality.
And in this moment,
All is well.
And in each moment,
All shall be well.
All shall be well,
And all shall be well,
And all manner of thing shall be well.
Repeat aloud,
In a whisper,
Or silently,
The following.
All is well.
In this moment,
All is well.
Moment by moment,
All shall be well.
The past is over.
The past is no longer my reality.
In this moment,
All is well.
Moment by moment,
All shall be well.
The future is yet to be.
The future is an illusion.
In this moment,
All is well.
Moment by moment,
All shall be well.
I trust that all will be well.
All things will be restored to goodness in the end.
Love and purpose will prevail.
All things will be restored to goodness in the end.
Love and purpose will prevail.
All shall be well,
And all shall be well,
And all manner of thing shall be well.
May these words,
Like seeds,
Take root and grow in your mind and soul,
Continuing to nourish you.
All shall be well,
And all shall be well,
And all manner of thing shall be well.
End this session in the way that feels right to you.
If you would like to continue resting in calmness and contemplation,
Let your body and breath be soft.
You are calm.
You are present.
If you are ready to move on with your day,
Take a deep,
Cleansing breath,
A gentle stretch,
And open your eyes.
If you would like to drift off to sleep,
Let go,
Release your thinking mind,
Settle and drift into slumber.
As we close this practice,
Wherever you are,
Whatever you do,
Know that you are safe.
You are whole.
You are on your path.
The universe is conspiring in your favor,
And all is well.
