Welcome.
This is Pam Stoller.
Thank you for being here this morning.
Please make yourself comfortable.
Close your eyes or soften your gaze.
Relax your face.
Let your shoulders soften and drop.
Feel your belly rise and fall as you begin to slow your breathing.
Settle back and take in our words of wisdom for this morning.
Attributed to social entrepreneur Mary Davis.
The more grateful I am,
The more beauty I see.
Allow yourself to open,
To be at ease.
And gently bring your awareness again to these words.
The more grateful I am,
The more beauty I see.
See in your mind's eye something you are grateful for.
It can be as simple as waking up this morning.
It may be a person or a pet.
It may be something in nature.
It may be a moment that made you smile.
Something you own that is useful to you or brings you joy.
Something about yourself that you love or proud of.
Bring this thing to mind.
Hold it warmly in your thoughts.
Feel the glow of gratitude it brings you.
Try to experience it with your senses.
See it.
Hear it.
Smell it.
Taste it.
Feel its touch.
Let the feelings of thankfulness grow and glow inside and around you.
Like a warm,
Beautiful light.
Notice how everything around you looks more beautiful in the light of gratitude.
The more grateful I am,
The more beauty I see.
Repeat aloud,
In a whisper or silently,
The following.
I notice things to be grateful for.
I say a silent thank you for the simplest of things.
I am amazed at how much good happens in my day.
And I take the time to notice it.
I am developing the habit of noticing the good.
I feel the practice of gratitude brightening my mood.
In the brightness of gratitude,
I can see the beauty around me.
Gratitude opens my eyes to beauty.
I am aware.
I am grateful.
Gratitude comes easily to me.
I see the beauty in my life.
I feel surrounded by beauty.
I walk the path of gratitude.
This path leads me to beauty and happiness.
The more grateful I am,
The more beauty I see.
May these words,
Like seeds,
Take root and grow in your mind and soul,
Continuing to nourish you today and all days.
The more grateful I am,
The more beauty I see.
As we close this practice and you move on with your day,
Know that you are safe.
You are whole.
You are on your path.
The universe is conspiring in your favor.
And all is well.
