Welcome to our walking meditation.
So you may find yourself on a path or a trail in the forest and just relax about five percent.
Noticing the breath and the clean,
Clear air.
Listening to the birds.
Perhaps there's some moss around that you can pick up and smell.
Something to connect you to your senses.
And then as you walk,
Notice how the forest holds you in a way that in my experience nothing else can.
No judgment from the forest.
Unconditional love,
However you are,
However you act,
Whatever you're wearing.
It doesn't care.
The forest loves you anyway.
Notice any openings in your heart or maybe contractions or warming,
Cooling sensations throughout your body.
And then relax your shoulders just about five percent again.
Coming back to the breath and being here.
Thanking yourself for taking the time out of your schedule to reconnect back to God,
To the stillness that is your heart.
You can place your hand on your heart as we go through the forest.
Just take it all in.
All the love,
All the greens,
The animals wrestling about can walk however slow or quickly you want.
You may stop to admire a tree and touch its bark or moss.
You can give the tree a hug.
Trees love hugs and let it absorb your negative energy because science shows that trees have the ability to do that.
So whatever is troubling you,
Give it to the tree and let the tree take it.
Let the earth take all your worries.
Let gratitude wash over you for choosing to go on this walk today.
Continue on admiring the way you show up in the world and knowing that each day discovering who you are is a blessing.
And even through all the full schedules and busy,
Busy days,
You showed up today.
Thank you for tuning in and listening.
Enjoy the rest of your walk.
