Hello friends and welcome to this somatic touch meditation for times when you're feeling deeply dysregulated or have a lot of overwhelm in your system.
And so today we're going to use our own body's wisdom to heal us.
And for this practice you can stand,
Sit,
Or lay down.
So choose one and once you've chosen one slowly close your eyes and place one hand softly on your forehead.
And just notice the warmth of your hand.
Letting the touch be a touch of love and taking your other hand and resting it at the base of your skull right where your neck and your head meet.
And feeling the support here and inviting in the wisdom of your hands to love up your mind,
To put your body at ease,
And giving yourself permission to receive this love.
Now slowly releasing your hands and bringing one of them to your heart and pressing firmly here and beginning to make little circles with your whole palm being pressed into your heart.
And again feeling this loving energy,
This healing touch move through your hands and into your heart.
And letting this love ripple through your being.
Breathing a little bit deeper here.
Relaxing the shoulders.
And slowly if you haven't already opening your eyes.
And looking around your space.
You can turn all the way around.
And saying out loud.
This is my space.
And I'm safe here.
This is my space.
And I am safe here.
This is my space.
And I am safe here.
And now my friends thanking yourself for taking these few minutes for letting the wisdom of your body speak and heal you because you are your greatest healer.
And your body already knows how to do the healing.
It's about us creating the space and giving ourselves permission to invoke this healing.
