Today we're going to practice a breathwork technique called the anti-depression breath,
Also known as fountain breath.
It's a simple,
Powerful breathwork technique that can help if you're feeling depressed,
Low energy,
Or even just a little down.
And if you're already feeling good,
It's a great way to amplify those positive emotions and feel even more alive.
It starts as a tiny line,
Small and focused,
And then expands into something big and overflowing,
Just like a fountain.
You'll inhale through your mouth with pursed lips,
Almost like you're sipping through a narrow straw.
As you breathe in,
You'll gradually increase the intensity,
Building and accelerating until you exhale into a strong and full release.
This technique is going to be in and out through your mouth.
We're going to do 14 breaths together,
And then we're going to sit in silence for two minutes to just feel its effects.
Closing your eyes now,
Taking a moment to observe how you feel.
Let's begin.

Let's do this 14 more times together.
Now pausing,
Taking a deep breath in from your nose,
Holding,
Exhaling from your mouth,
Nice and slow.
Noticing how you feel.
Sitting here in silence for two minutes.
Taking one last breath together,
Inhaling from your nose,

Exhaling slowly from your mouth.
