Welcome to Whispers of the Heart.
Guided meditations.
I'm your host and guide.
Noriko Tanigawa Life is always moving.
Like a river.
It carries us.
Through seasons of joy.
Through seasons of loss.
Through beginnings and endings.
Through moments that shape us in ways we never expected.
Sometimes we try to hold on to.
Who we have been,
Sometimes we resist.
Where life is asking us to go.
And sometimes.
.
.
We simply feel as though we are standing at the edge of something new.
Without knowing what waits on the other side.
Yet beneath all of life's changes,
There's something that does not change.
Quiet presence.
A deeper knowing.
A wisdom that has flowed through you.
Long before you learned who you were supposed to be.
It has been there through every joy.
Every heartbreak.
Every uncertainty.
Patiently waiting for the moment.
When the mind grows quiet enough.
To hear its gentle voice.
Today,
We are not searching for answers.
We are not trying to become someone new.
Instead,
We are returning.
Returning to steady current.
That has always flowed within you.
The part of you that remembers how to trust.
How to listen.
How to Soften how to move with life.
Instead of against it.
Like a river.
You do not need to force your way forward.
You do not need to know every bend that lies ahead.
You only need to trust.
The quiet current that already knows the way.
So for now.
.
.
Allow yourself to arrive.
Just as you are.
With questions,
Your hopes,
Your uncertainties,
Your dreams.
There's nothing to fix.
Nothing to become.
Only a quiet invitation to remember.
What has always been alive within you.
This is The River Within,
A guided meditation for returning to your ancient wisdom.
And whenever you're ready.
We will begin this quiet journey of remembering.
Trusting.
And flowing with the wisdom that has always been yours.
Find a comfortable seat.
Or lie down.
Allow yourself to feel very comfortable.
If you need your favorite pillow,
Your blanket,
Anything to help you feel at home.
To feel cozy and comfortable.
Feel free to pause this meditation.
And come back whenever you're ready.
And now.
As always,
We are going to start our practice.
By taking a deep breath in and out three times.
Take a deep breath in.
Breath out.
Take a deep breath in.
And breath out.
And one more time,
Take a deep breath in.
And audible breath out.
Allow your breath.
To return to normal.
And feel the gravity supporting you.
You being held.
You've been loved.
You've been supported.
And you are being guided.
This is a sweet practice of coming home.
Understanding.
Where we are from.
And to feel this connection to.
.
.
Our ancient wisdom.
And this is regardless of.
Which culture you're from.
And what kind of belief you have or.
.
.
How connected you feel.
About the history.
Of your ancient connections.
Each and every one of us.
Are created by this.
Drop off.
Creativity.
That comes from the universe.
And we also possess this.
Power to create.
If you look at just a simple thing as.
Maybe.
A pen or pencil.
Someone had to think about creating it for it to be created.
So I want you to look back.
On your life and See how many things you've created.
If you cook for me or home,
That's your creation.
If you shared an idea with someone.
That's a creation too.
Creating art.
Or any craft project.
So in something.
Or exercising.
Down to doing a basic household chores like Cleaning bathroom,
That's also creativity because you have to think about it.
For it to actually come true.
A superpower.
The power to create.
And the same power of creativity created.
That's why we're here.
And this creativity really comes from it.
The Unconditional Loving Force of the Universe.
So regardless of.
What circumstances.
Led to you being born.
Regardless of.
How you came into life.
What your parents thought about you.
And how much love you received from your parents or not.
We all come from this.
And conditional world.
We need to lean into this unconditional love.
Regardless of how you came into this world.
How easy,
Difficult,
Joyous,
Or painful your childhood experience may have been.
We are all here.
Because of one thing.
Unconditional love.
Regardless of whether you felt this love or not in your life.
That is something that.
.
.
Is rooted deeply.
Within us,
Into our soul.
No matter how much you feel unseen,
Unloved.
Misunderstood.
You are loved by this force.
This quiet force of love.
That beats your heartbeat.
Keeps your breathing going no matter how you feel.
Allow you to.
Libyolite.
And supporting you,
Loving you.
With every breath.
Every heartbeat.
Always there.
Even when you think you're alone.
And I want you to think about your life.
Like.
A river that starts in the.
.
.
Small stream up in the mountain.
And as the stream travels down and down.
From the top of the mountain.
It gets bigger.
It merges with other streams.
And eventually.
.
.
Turns into a big river that flows into the ocean.
This ocean that this river flows into is the universe's unconditional love.
That's how we go home.
After we live our life.
So if you look at a life journey.
.
.
Like this river.
Always following.
Sometimes fast,
Sometimes slow.
Sometimes the water may just Stop and be stagnant for a while.
Sometimes it bends,
Sometimes it pulls straight.
Sometimes it splits.
And they are life's events that we go through.
And sometimes life changes.
In a direction that we didn't want to.
Or we weren't quite prepared for.
Sometimes we feel uncertain.
Because water just seems to flow too fast.
Sometimes we get frustrated for very slow moving water.
What you see.
If you see your life.
As a reaper.
It is just simply flowing.
And sometimes just surrendering into that movement.
Is probably the easiest thing to do.
And you see no matter what happens.
No matter which path you choose to take.
When the river spreads.
All waterfalls too.
The speed.
Unconditionally loving oceans.
There's no mistake in life.
Just a different path.
And one thing that is always constant.
Is that regardless of how fast or slow the river is moving,
It is always,
Always moving.
The water flows through you just like life flows through you.
There's nothing to fight against.
There's so many things to surrender.
And the only thing you can really change.
Is your outlook,
Your perspective,
How you choose to experience your life.
I want you to imagine you're this.
Tiny.
ToyBot.
On this river stream of your life.
And just allow this toy boat to float.
I'm not.
And just let it flow down the stream.
I want you to Witness.
It's a good point.
And we are that toy boat.
Also time.
Even when we make a plan.
We really don't know what's going on in the future.
I'm also time.
What we planned.
Doesn't really come true in a way.
We envisioned.
And that's OK.
I wanted to look at this toy boat.
As when you were a little kid praying with those.
Toy boat.
Letting it go down the stream.
Looking at it with pure curiosity.
Sometimes you can get stuck.
And sometimes it can top over.
But you can always pick it up.
And start over again.
And if you look at this toy boat well.
Your world.
Childlike spirit of curiosity.
You soon realize that.
It's not a bow.
How far you go.
Or how fast you go.
But it's all about how much fun you have.
What if our life is like that?
What if our life is about?
How much?
You're enjoying each and every moment of your life.
What if life is not about being successful?
Getting there faster.
Or getting more.
Life is about.
Getting stuck sometimes.
Toppling over.
Pick it up and start over.
And be able to laugh about it.
How many of us?
Paralyze ourselves with the belief.
That we have to do it right.
Or that we have to make it successful.
And not allowing despair.
Down the stream of Phong Nguan.
But the one that's filled with stress and anxiety and fear.
And understanding that.
Anything in life.
Can be.
Redone.
We can start over.
And try again.
Again and again.
What if that is the.
.
.
Ancient wisdom.
That we sometimes forget.
That we are part of.
And what if?
Not knowing.
And be uncertain about.
Your life or your life's direction or things that you should do in your life.
Your sense of purpose.
Or the relationship you should be having.
All of that.
What if.
.
.
Being uncertain and not knowing is normal.
We live in a society where.
.
.
Everyone expects everyone to know.
Before we even try it for the first time.
And we all act like we know what we are doing and we see other people's.
They are put together and they know exactly what they are doing in their life.
Use that as an opportunity too.
Put yourself down and.
.
.
Look at yourself as being.
Just a total mess.
But the truth is that.
.
.
Most of us don't know.
Most of us don't know where we are going.
Most of us are unsure about.
If what we are doing right now is right or not.
Most of us aren't so sure about what it means to be successful.
What it means to have a good life.
We question every day.
If what we are doing is enough.
What if all that is okay?
And if you don't know where you're going really in your life.
What if life is already taking you?
Remember your dad's toy boat going down the stream.
It's okay.
To not know.
And it's OK.
To be taken by the stream.
The stream knows.
Exactly where you're meant to be.
And the point of life is not.
Knowing and calculating all these.
Trouble spots in your life.
And trying to mitigate it.
The point of life.
Is to allow yourself to flow.
Through your life.
Enjoy the view!
Enjoy the experiences.
And the bump on the stream.
It's just the way for you.
To appreciate.
When the reverse flows smoother.
All the challenges you have in life.
Adds excitement.
None of the challenges in your life are there to punish you.
It helps you grow and evolve.
And to change the way you look at things or to experience things.
What if you get to see your life?
With light-heartedness.
There's nothing too serious about life.
If this life is just a dream.
Might as well enjoy it.
And we need to imagine yourself on that playbook.
Glory.
Down the stream.
Down and down.
Down and down.
Every time you get toppled over.
Where Jitney guided back again.
You're never lost.
You're always held.
You're always flowing,
Moving,
Changing.
Even when you feel you're stuck.
Something underneath is moving.
To help you move on.
Down the stream.
And eventually.
.
.
You'll get to this big river.
When you get to meet.
Other toy boards.
And travel together.
Into this big ocean.
Where?
Everything is just unconditional love.
I'm going to feel.
The unconditional love that surrounds you.
Now we'll eat two.
Feel this message of love.
Enjoying your life,
Enjoying this every single moment in your life.
I want you to feel that in every single cell of your body.
And let's bring this childlike curiosity.
And our intention to enjoy every moment of our life back into our physical realm.
Slowly.
.
.
Wiggle our toes and fingers.
Rotate our wrists and ankles.
Shake our head yes and no.
Whenever we are ready.
Slowly.
Of your eyes.
Welcome back.
How do you feel?
Do you feel a little bit lighter?
More excited.
Light-hearted.
Ready to enjoy and dance through the rest of today and beyond.
Whenever you're feeling a little bit uncertain.
Uncomfortable with some of the changes that you're having in your life or you feel too stressed or pressured Come back to this practice.
And to reconnect with yourself with this ancient wisdom of.
.
.
Childlike curiosity.
Ease of flow.
And if you would like to.

Is to heal.

More you can allow yourself.
