I'm your host and guide Noriko Tanigawa.
In this short meditation,
We are going to focus on finding peace when we feel restless or anxious,
Maybe frustrated even.
So find a safe place where you can be alone.
Hopefully sitting down or lying down,
But if you don't have that space,
It's okay.
Just be as comfortable as you can.
Let's take a deep breath in and out three times.
Let's take a deep breath in and breath out.
Ah Let's take another deep breath in and breath out.
And one last time.
Let's take a deep breath in and breath out.
I want you to imagine walking in this forest trail.
And it's not too warm or too cold.
It's just perfect weather.
You feel gentle sunlight filter through.
Fresh air brushing against your cheeks.
You're just walking deeper and deeper into the forest.
Every time you see a turn,
I want you to take a left turn.
Keep going.
And I want you to hear the birds chirping.
And as you go lower and lower,
You hear the stream nearby.
And I want you to walk closer to it.
And it's really peaceful there by the stream.
And the water looks very clean and clear.
And imagine dipping your hand into that stream.
And I want you to feel this refreshing coolness on your hand.
Maybe dip another hand into this water too.
Feel the coolness.
I want you to let that sensation of this water to travel all over your body.
Imagine this is a magical water that cools down your nervous system and allowing it to return to its calm state.
Let's take a deep breath in.
And breath out.
And now I want you to feel this calmness.
Throughout your body.
Now imagine that there is this very soft patch of grass next to the stream.
Big enough for you to comfortably lie down.
I want you to lie down there and feel the grass gently supporting you.
And I want you to feel the grass with both your hands and whichever the parts of the body that's touching the grass.
I want you to feel the Mother Earth energy gently calming down and bringing you back to a peaceful state.
Peace comes from within,
Not from outside.
No matter how erratic it might be outside,
No one can rob you of this peace.
Let's take it all in.
Take a deep breath in.
And breath out.
And now feel this calmness and peace.
You might even feel a slight buzzing sensation through your body.
I want you to bring this calmness and peace back into your physical realm.
You can carry on for the rest of your day and beyond with this peace and calmness.
Slowly,
Wiggle your toes and fingers,
Rotate your wrists and ankles.
And whenever you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes.
Welcome back.
Whatever you're going through,
You got this.
Tap into this inner peace and calm.
Anytime you need it,
It's already here and it's just right behind your closed eyes.
