Full Dedication Have you ever been fully committed to a task?
You research it,
Understand the methods,
And carry it out.
It consumes you until the work is finished.
Whether it takes an hour or a day,
It is your sole focus until it is done.
Usually,
To be so committed you have found value in the completion of the task.
Not just in the completion,
You have found value in the immersion into the task.
You have found value in dedicating time,
Energy,
And resources to the process in order to get to the completion.
And whatever the completion,
It becomes a valuable addition or absorption into your life,
Hence the dedication in the first place.
God possesses all we need to do well in this world.
To do well can only be defined by you,
But I implore you to not limit the phrase's meaning to mere financial increase.
But if we acknowledge that God is our source,
Then we know that we must go to Him for all we need.
Righteousness and strength are in the Lord.
What does that mean?
Let me ask you,
Have you ever desired your favorite snack?
You go to the store,
You search it out,
You marvel at the packaging,
You purchase it,
You bring it home,
And you set it on the table.
Have you yet benefited from the snack?
Have you yet enjoyed the snack,
Having gone through all of those steps?
No.
You don't experience the joy of that snack until you reach into the box and take hold of what's inside.
With God,
It is not enough to know that He exists somewhere in the universe.
It is not enough to have overheard some people talking about Him.
It is not enough to know where the worship centers are within a 25-mile radius of you.
It is not even enough to go and sit in a worship service.
It is not even enough if you read the prescribed religious text.
You must go in.
You must immerse yourself in the Lord to find the righteousness and strength.
But how do you go in?
Faith.
Faith,
The size of a mustard seed.
That 100% pure belief that God is who He says He is and possesses what He says He possesses.
So you say,
Okay,
I can do that.
But how do I know if I'm in enough?
You'll know that you're in.
You will know that you have obtained the righteousness and strength that is within the Lord when people come to you,
When they see your light,
When you are deemed such a strong representative of God that those who came against you are shamed for the way they treated you and talked about you.
Now take note.
You cannot go in and then come back out.
You cannot immerse yourself in God,
Gain the righteousness and strength,
And then step away.
It'll flow out of you quickly.
No different than accessing electricity through a wall outlet.
You have to plug in and stay plugged in.
Why?
Because you cannot hold that power on your own.
In your hands,
It will ebb away.
It will run down.
You must remain connected and immersed in God in order to have that steady stream of current.
So even when you see people come,
Even when you see the wicked confounded,
You cannot disconnect from the source.
The outcome is the demonstration that the connection is strong and real.
So why would you step away?
