Let's Get Physical
It’s very difficult to unwind when we're surrounded by demands, bombarded by news, scrutinized over social media, and deprived of our free time. We're told that we have to achieve something to be successful, and ‘success’ brings happiness.
But this non-stop pressure to succeed brings with it stress, anxiety, and depression. Relaxation, ironically, becomes a high-pressure goal to achieve.
Let's learn how to relax - how to REALLY relax. Lesson one introduces a simple physical relaxation process to diffuse the physical manifestation of stress.
Les 2
Digging Deeper
In Day One you learned how to release the physical stress that your body stores up. Now, let's focus on your mind.
In Lesson two we journey into the realm of mental stress. Your mind is bombarded all day, every day. There are million-and-one things to do, and sometimes, no motivation to do them. Here’s an effective method to fine-tune and focus your mind. It's simpler than you might think.
In this lesson we’ll learn to bring our focus back onto ourselves and reduce the overwhelm of external distractions.
Les 3
Softly, Deeply Sleepy
Anxiety frazzles your mind; has you overthinking things, always on the look-out for problems. This continual adrenaline rush exhausts your physical body. Restorative sleep is vitally important, but is difficult when your mind is racing out of control.
In lesson 3 we begin to develop better sleeping patterns. You’ve recently learned how to focus your attention and progressively relax your physical body. So, now let's reassure your mind that it’s okay to enjoy deep, quality, restorative sleep by encouraging it with some positive ideas - ideas which, when allowed to sink deeply into your mind, become an enjoyable part of your reality.
Les 4
The Log Cabin
With a relaxed body, a calm mind, and a new way to sleep soundly, it's time to reflect and release old thoughts.
Positive memories bring joy to us. Negative memories often bring back the bad feelings from those old moments. Do you realise that you can spring clean your mind?
That's right, you can sweep away those old negative moments, thoughts, and feelings in order to make room, to store up, and to enjoy many more positive memories. In lesson 4 we begin to observe our old thoughts. Join me in an enchanting log cabin where I'll show you how to spring clean your mind.
Les 5
Carrying Your Concerns
Yesterday’s cabin looks great, now let's take a leisurely stroll through a picturesque mountain setting.
I often refer to the negative thoughts that we carry around in our minds as emotional baggage, and this old clutter obstructs our progress. How much energy are you wasting by carrying all your heavy negative baggage?
Let’s discover any concerns that you're choosing to carry with you and use this second technique to whisk away the energy behind those concerns. Lesson 5 will introduce ways to help you release your negative thoughts and create more room for positive feelings. With less clutter to carry, you’ll feel free to create a new future.
Les 6
Reducing Anxiety On Demand
Anxiety can stop anyone in their tracks. In lesson 6 we practice an instant anxiety release technique. This powerfully simple technique is an amazing solution to use in those moments when you feel anxiety lurking.
Using this method before or during an anxiety-provoking situation can mean the difference between crumbling into chaos OR conquering like a champion.
With practice, this skill can become an automatic instinct providing you with a calm, confident approach to all situations, at all times.
Les 7
Confidence For All Occasions
Confidence means something different to everyone. Whether you're plucking up the courage to ask someone out on a date, preparing for a job interview, or simply wanting to find the strength to walk up to the counter and order yourself a cup of coffee, we will learn a simple way to boost your confidence.
This super simple trick is one that many children perform without even realising what they're doing. It's a technique which, after a little practice, can supercharge your confidence in all situations.
Les 8
Do Something New
Do you really see what's around you? Do you notice the beauty in every moment, the opportunity in every situation and your own strength in every decision? If not, it may be because you've trained yourself to ignore what’s out there.
In lesson 8 we use our confidence to try something new.
Doing something different may be the perfect solution for you.
Have you heard of a growth mindset? It's an attitude that creates a playful game out of everyday situations. With this skill, suddenly daunting tasks become interesting challenges filled with opportunities to learn, grow, and achieve results beyond your wildest dreams.
Les 9
Taking The First Step
Every adventure begins with a single step, and 'motivation' is the magic ingredient that gets you where you want to be in life.
When you're highly motivated to get something done, it suddenly becomes much easier to get into the flow.
In lesson 9 we define our own future.
If your motivation is lacking and you need a little boost, you may simply need to rediscover what motivates you. There are many ways you can motivate yourself. Some people are driven by desire and some are motivated by fear.
Rediscovering and harnessing your motivation may actually be the key to living a happy life. It's time to ask yourself: What is it that I truly desire?
Les 10
The Secret To Your Success
Some think that the secret to success means never failing, winning every battle, excelling in every challenge, and always thinking positively.
Sadly, this is an unrealistic goal to achieve, and any failure is perceived as catastrophic. With this in mind, many people fail to even start their journey because of this fear of failure.
Today, we’ll adjust our outlook on ‘failing’ in order to understand that true change, true success, and true progress always happens when we take action, believe in ourselves, measure our progress, adjust, and keep going.
Get ready to step into your success.
