Welcome to the meditation segment.
This is a new meditation that I written down a couple of weeks ago.
I've gone through it a couple of times and I believe it holds value.
The name of the meditation is Rising from Darkness to Light,
With the subtitle,
A Journey from Hopelessness to Inner Radiance.
And before we begin,
Do take a minute to get as comfortable as you can get,
But take a few moments to really settle in,
Adjust so that the body feels at ease,
So a gentle wave of relaxation starts to come over you,
Softening the muscles of the face and sort of releasing your body gently into the seat that you're taking or into the bed or into the floor if you're lying down on the floor.
Take a moment,
Bring your attention to my voice,
Establish a self-concentration on it.
And welcome,
Dear one.
I see you.
I feel you.
You may be carrying weight in your heart,
A heaviness that lingers,
A fog that clouds your mind,
A deep aching exhaustion that whispers,
I don't know how to move forward.
And yet,
Here you are.
Even amidst the weight of it all,
Something inside you has brought you here.
A part of you that still believes,
No matter how faintly,
That relief is possible,
That movement is possible,
That something more,
Something lighter,
Something better awaits you.
And I promise you,
It does.
Let's take this journey together.
There is no rush,
No expectation,
Only gentle shifts,
One breath at a time.
Take a deep breath in and let it out slowly.
Again,
Breathe in deeply and release.
With every breath,
You're beginning the process of releasing the weight.
I want you to know this,
Whatever you are emotionally right now,
It is okay.
There is nothing wrong with the feeling this way.
There is nothing wrong with you.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
And as you exhale,
Allow that truth to settle into your heart.
You don't need to fight what you feel.
You don't need to push it away or pretend it isn't there.
Right now,
We are simply acknowledging it.
So,
If there's sadness,
Let it be there.
If there's loneliness,
Let it have space.
If there's frustration,
Anger,
Numbness,
Exhaustion,
Let it all just be.
There is a quiet kind of power in allowing yourself to feel without resistance.
But now,
Let's explore something powerful.
What if these emotions were not permanent?
What if they were not chains but only clouds passing through your sky?
What if beneath everything there was still a steady and wavering part of you,
Whole,
Intact,
Unbreakable,
Just waiting to be seen again?
For just a moment,
Entertain this idea.
Even though I feel low,
I am still breathing.
Even though I feel stuck,
I am still here.
Even though I feel lost,
Life is still moving forward.
Breathe in that possibility.
Feel the softest flicker of relief entering your body.
The truth is,
You don't have to have all the answers right now.
You don't have to fix everything in this moment.
You don't even have to know what comes next.
You only have to be here with me,
Breathing.
And in this breath,
You have already begun to shift.
Imagine for a moment that the heaviness you carry is not solid,
It is energy.
Thus,
It is fluid,
It is not fixed.
What if instead of gripping tightly onto it,
You could loosen your grasp?
What if instead of carrying the weight,
You could set it down,
Even just for now?
Breathe in deeply.
And as you exhale,
Imagine a small portion of that weight lifting,
Drifting away like mist.
Again,
Breathe in and let another layer dissolve.
Little by little,
You are feeling lighter.
You are remembering what ease feels like.
Feel it.
Even if it's just a fraction of a percent,
This is movement.
Now,
Bring this thought into your awareness.
What if things could get better?
Just what if?
You don't have to believe it fully.
You don't have to see how it will happen,
But simply allow the possibility to exist in your mind.
Breathe in that question.
What if something beautiful is on its way to me?
Doesn't that feel just a bit lighter?
Hope does not demand proof,
It only asks for space.
So let it in,
Just a little.
Imagine yourself standing in a dark room where the first sliver of golden light begins to seep through a small crack.
That is hope,
And that is finding you.
I know you have been through darkness before.
You have faced storms and survived.
There were times you thought you would not make it.
And yet,
Here you are.
That means you are strong.
Even when you don't feel strong.
Even when you don't believe it.
You are resilient.
You are powerful.
You are capable of rising again.
You are capable of rising again.
You are capable of rising again.
Let this truth settle into your heart like a stone sinking gently into water.
Breathe in strength.
Exhale doubt.
Breathe in resilience.
Exhale fear.
You are stepping into a new version of yourself.
One that is no longer defined by past pain.
Can you feel it?
That stirring deep inside you.
That is you reclaiming your power.
Now,
Bring to mind one small thing you can appreciate in this moment.
Maybe it's the breath moving through your lungs.
Maybe it's the warmth of the air against your skin.
Maybe it's the memory of laughter,
Of kindness,
Of something beautiful.
Hold that thought close.
Breathe in gratitude and exhale peace.
The more you lean into appreciation,
The more you rise.
The more you acknowledge what is good,
The more you align with even more good things coming your way.
Your vibration is shifting.
You are moving higher.
And with each breath,
You are opening yourself to a world filled with possibilities,
With love,
With joy.
Now,
Take one final deep breath in.
And as you exhale,
Let your entire body soften.
Feel the difference in yourself.
Feel the shift.
Where there was once heaviness,
There is now ease.
Where there was once despair,
There is now hope.
Where there was once powerlessness,
There is now strength.
You are lighter.
You are rising.
You are becoming.
And the beautiful thing,
This is just the beginning.
And take your time to bathe in the new emotional state that you've acquired.
Take another 10 minutes to gently concentrate and to feel the shifts within your emotional state.
And when you're ready,
Gently bring your awareness back to your body.
Feel your hands,
Feel your feet.
And eventually,
Open your eyes,
Returning to the world,
Not as who you were,
But as who you are becoming.
And as you move forward,
Remember,
You are powerful.
You are capable.
You are worthy of feeling good.
Everything is shifting for you,
And all is well.
