So if it's safe for you to do so please shut down your eyes,
Get comfortable,
Uncross your legs,
Allow your hands to rest in your lap and with your eyes closed start to tune into your breath.
Just notice the quality of your breath and by quality I mean the length,
I mean the depth,
Maybe even things like the smoothness of your breath.
Does it catch in certain places or is it nicely smoothly flowing in and out?
We always start with the breath.
The breath connects us to now and brings us into the present moment.
So as you concentrate on your breath know that your energy and your attention are coming back to right here,
Right now,
Bringing all of you to this moment.
Letting any thoughts about the future or about the past,
Letting them rest for now and bringing all of you here through the breath.
Now if you wish to you may want to deepen the breath and lengthen the time of which it takes you to breathe in and breathe out.
And notice as you lengthen the breath,
As you bring your attention more to the breath how your body naturally relaxes and we can consciously relax the body as well as you breathe in creating space and as you breathe out letting go of tension.
Any tension in the body,
Any stress being held physically on the out-breath,
Letting it go and perhaps now you're feeling more present and perhaps this presence is the kind of leader who wish to be every single day.
Mentally,
Spiritually,
Energetically and physically.
And now bring your attention to the middle of your forehead,
Between the eyes,
The soft spot between your brows.
And here is where we can vision,
Where we can imagine our futures and ourselves and where we can connect to this next level leader.
The leader who we need to become in order to create the big bold dreams that we have for ourselves and for our workplaces and perhaps for the world.
Breathing into the space between the brows and I want you to imagine that in this space there is a cinema,
A movie screen if you like.
And I want you to imagine that you see yourself projected upon this movie screen and this version of you is the leader you need to become.
The future you,
The next level you.
And as you see this vision,
Just notice how they hold themselves,
Notice how they speak,
Notice the smile upon their face,
The quiet confidence,
The authority,
Compassion,
The kindness,
The values of which you lead with are emanating through this vision of you.
And now imagine that you are walking towards the screen and you now meld into that vision of you and I want you to feel yourself in this moment,
In your body,
Becoming the next level leader.
How do you hold yourself?
How do you see the world?
How do you communicate with others?
And allow your body to embody this vision of you.
