Hi there and welcome to your Self Love Now meditation.
I'm so happy we can do this together.
I want you to be sitting up in a chair or on the floor with your spine straight.
You can sit cross-legged or just any way you're comfortable.
We want our energy to be able to flow through our spine from the base of our body to the crown of our head.
To flow from the ground to the universe and back again.
We want the energy centers open and flowing to receive all the beautiful energy that you deserve today.
Please close your eyes.
I want you to focus on your breathing and just notice the breath as it flows in and out of your nostrils.
Cool on the way in,
Warm on the way out.
Just breathe and notice your breath.
Don't try to change it in any way.
Now I want you to set an intention for this meditation today.
Pondering on the question,
What do I want?
I'm going to get you to count backwards from 11 using your breath.
I am breathing in 11.
I am breathing out 11.
I am breathing in 10.
I am breathing out 10.
Continue at your own pace.
If you get to one,
Start back at 11.
If you lose count at any point,
Start back at 11.
Drop the count wherever you are.
I want you to imagine that you are standing outside a room.
A room you have never seen before.
You open the handle and go inside.
There is nothing in the room.
It's just you,
Four walls,
The floor and the ceiling.
Before you leave the room,
I want you to leave some things behind.
I want you to slowly take off the roles that you play,
One at a time.
Saying to yourself,
I am not that.
I want you to take off your role as a daughter.
Saying to yourself,
I am not that.
I want you to take off your role as a sibling.
Saying to yourself,
I am not that.
I want you to take off your role as a wife,
Girlfriend,
Lover.
Saying to yourself,
I am not that.
I want you to take off your role as a career woman.
Saying to yourself,
I am not that.
I want you to take off your role as a school mum.
I am not that.
I want you to take off your role as a mum.
I am not that.
I want you to take off your role as an organiser.
I am not that.
I want you to take off your role as a nurturer.
I am not that.
Now you may not think there is anything left of you to give,
But there is.
I want you to take off your likes and dislikes.
I am not that.
I want you to let go of your beliefs.
I am not that.
I want you to rid yourself of expectations,
Of all the should in your life.
I am not that.
I want you to let go of your emotions.
I am not that.
I want you to let go of your thoughts.
I am not that.
I want you to ask yourself,
Who am I?
I am not my body.
Who am I?
I am not the roles that I play.
Who am I?
I am not the things that I do.
I say,
Who am I?
And just listen to the answer.
Without all the baggage,
Who am I?
I want you to leave that room and close the door.
Feel as light as a feather,
Like you could float up to the universe.
You feel a vibrating,
Pulsating sense of love in your body.
Pure love floating freely through you and out of you.
This is who you are.
A spirit who is free and full of love.
Feel it to be true.
Feel the sensation in the body.
Stay with that sensation as you slowly open your eyes.
When you are ready,
You can put your palms together at your heart center and say to yourself,
