Limiting beliefs can cause us to manifest a limited version of reality, preventing us from reaching our true potential. After we identify any limiting beliefs that you might have, we find the root cause and perform some healing on it. This meditation involves visiting a past memory. Only perform this meditation if you feel strong enough to do so. If you experience any difficulties or begin to feel upset in any way, simply end the meditation by opening your eyes. Seek support if you need to.

Heal limiting beliefs.

Guided meditation.

Welcome I'm Nikki Sutton.

Please refrain from listening while driving or doing anything else.

Make sure you'll be undisturbed.

Dim the lights and lay or sit in a very comfortable position with your head and shoulders supported.

Close your eyes and follow the sound of my voice.

Just settle in and begin to relax.

It's time to focus subconsciously for inner healing so that you can feel better in your life today.

This meditation can be performed more than once for healing various limiting beliefs.

Before I relax you down so that your subconscious mind comes through,

I must say that I have avoided giving examples of limiting beliefs during this process so not to make negative subconscious suggestion.

It's important that when I ask you later to reverse your limiting belief that only the positive opposite is used.

So for example the belief that my efforts are futile should not be reversed to make my actions are not futile because you're still using the word futile.

Instead use my efforts are worthwhile and appreciated so we must only use the positive opposite.

Okay here we go.

Bring your attention within towards your inner world.

Sense or visualize now that you're surrounded by a gentle warm light,

A golden white light glowing and twinkling totally surrounding your body.

Just sense it warming your skin and enveloping you like a kind and loving hug.

For this is a protective healing light of love light energy.

Sense this light infusing you with its healing energies causing every muscle in your body to relax.

Your facial muscles,

Jaw and shoulders release all tension as the light instills its caring loving radiance in these areas.

Your arms,

Hands,

Legs and feet fully relax down now supported by the light.

You are becoming even more calm and relaxed as each moment passes.

Your breathing is free and easy.

Your back releases any unhelpful energies ever accumulated there and your stomach feels settled and well.

This golden divine light cares for every part of your body during this process of deep relaxation and so you drift deeper and deeper into comfort and restfulness all being very well.

You're safe cared for and protected.

Okay let's locate a limiting belief for healing.

I want you to bring to mind one thing.

Something that seems like a belief that might be holding you back in some way hindering your progress,

Ability to do something you want to do or to find peace and balance.

What is it if anything that you believe about yourself or reality that might be holding you back or hinders them in some way?

Okay turn this into a sentence.

I believe that and complete the sentence.

Go ahead.

All is well.

We'll reverse this belief shortly.

Now take the sentence I believe that you completed and add because to it.

Because in terms of where this belief came from how it started.

So I believe and fill in the gap because and complete the sentence.

Go ahead.

Okay you should have your limiting belief and the root cause now.

So with this insight in mind I'm going to count you down back to the very earliest time in your life that your belief or indeed perhaps assumption began to form.

If using your sense of just knowing as to your experiences is easier for you than visualization then you can use that otherwise use visualization.

And when I get to one you will find yourself in an early memory when your belief first came about.

Here we go.

Ten,

Nine,

Bringing to mind the belief you brought here today.

Eight,

Seven,

Present in it and the emotions accompanying it.

Six,

Five,

Going back in time.

Four,

Three,

Back to the start of it.

Two and one and find yourself there.

Remaining calm and relaxed observe where you find yourself.

Allow the memory to form taking your time.

Observe your surroundings and any people in this scene.

Allow the memory to play out but freeze-frame it at any moment if emotionally you feel you need to.

Take a few moments to gain understanding of how the limiting belief you identified relates to this scene.

Perhaps it was something someone was saying or doing or not saying or doing or maybe it was something that happened.

Freeze-frame the memory if you haven't already.

Looking at this scene ask yourself was the belief given to you by others or perhaps was it an assumption you made about yourself or reality at the time.

Our younger self would often draw conclusions that we wouldn't make today.

Now let's perform some healing.

Sense or feel the belief you identified forming at the pit of your stomach.

Allow the belief to collect there.

You're about to give the unhelpful belief back to this scene signifying that it's no longer yours.

Sense this belief leaving your body now.

Observe it leaving through the front of your body and floating into this scene.

Observe what it looks like.

It may resemble a cloud or ball of energy.

The belief has left you now.

And I want you to wish it some love to heal it.

Send love from your heart to it until it's completely transmuted into love.

And watch it dissipate and disappear all together.

Okay well done.

Lastly I want you to frame a new belief and to make an affirmation out of it.

The belief that has left you create one that is the opposite.

Perhaps involving I can or I am or something else only positive about yourself or reality.

Containing only positive constructive encouraging words.

Perhaps the direct opposite of the previous belief.

Allow the new positive affirmation to form for you now and take a moment.

Okay use this as an affirmation for yourself moving forward.

Just observe the scene around you fading now until it's completely gone.

And I'm going to count you up back to normality.

Here we go.

One,

Two,

Three,

Returning feeling empowered.

Four,

Five,

Six with a positive mindset.

Seven,

Eight,

Nine,

Ten and return to normality.

Feeling healed and rested.

You can open your eyes when ready.

Take some time to relax some more and perform self-care.

Always seek support if you ever need to.
