Make sure that every part of your body is well supported.

That you're in a very comfortable position in bed and that your head is held supportively by your pillow.

Close your eyes,

Those eyelids growing heavy now.

As they close and just begin to take a few slow deep breaths.

Inhaling through your nose and exhaling through your mouth as if blowing away any stress or tension.

Finding a perfect place of peacefulness in this moment and allowing your thoughts and emotions to calm now.

This is your place of peace.

Peace and restoration.

As you move gently towards sleep and just allow yourself to drift closer to sleep.

It's okay if you begin to drift off.

Your subconscious hears these words and acts upon them.

Soothing and calming your emotions as you relax more and more.

Moving towards sleep.

Imagine or sense for a few moments you're standing at the top of a grassy hill.

Feel the soft grass yet solid ground beneath your feet grounding you.

This in itself relaxes you.

It's a pleasant sunny day and from this vantage point you can see a vast expanse of land ahead.

In the distance you notice a storm gathering with dark clouds swirling and lightning flashes across the sky.

As you observe this storm you sense that perhaps it represents your emotions.

The intensity of the storm may mirror the intensity of your feelings at times.

Realize that you are the observer of this storm.

You are here in the sunshine and the storm is over there.

You are the awareness looking upon these emotions which you can easily separate your awareness from.

Acknowledge these emotions without judgment.

It's okay to recognize and validate these feelings ready for healing.

Everyone feels the way they do for a reason of course.

Go ahead and shift your focus to your own breath once more.

With each inhale imagine you're inhaling a lovely sense of calm and serenity and with each exhale you're releasing any tension or unpleasant feeling emotions from within you.

Go ahead and as you continue to breathe imagine that your breath is like a gentle breeze.

This breeze is blowing from where you are over to the gathering storm and with each gust you make you're blowing out emotions that aren't serving you anymore and the storm shows signs of slowing down and calming.

You're blowing it away,

Dissipating it.

Sense and see the storm's intensity diminishing and with it any of your emotions that you might need a rest from.

They're being replaced with good feelings.

The clouds disperse,

The lightning stops and the rain tapers off.

Feeling a calming breeze on your skin now as the storm transforms into a calm serene sky.

The once turbulent weather now reflects the peace you're cultivating within yourself.

Feeling a deep sense of relief and tranquility.

You have the power to calm any storm within you just as you've calmed the storm on the horizon.

I find it very difficult to find meditations I can stand for 30-minutes let alone a couple hours. This is phenomenal. The relaxation is gentle and soothing and the affirmations are very well designed and helpful. She has a great voice. I play while falling asleep (and sleeping) and in the background while I work. Really hoping to internalize. I feel lighter after just a few days of listening. There is one affirmation that is like, “I deserve peace and tranquility.” It really hit the spot. So much gratitude and thanks!
