Hello,
And thank you for taking time out of your day to spend with me.
I wanted to start this workshop on love because I think it is something so important to our well-being and something that most people never stop to cultivate.
We take it for granted while also actively giving it away.
If we never stop to fill our cup,
We are going to experience problems in our relationships,
In our personal lives,
At work,
And really every aspect of our life.
This is especially important for some of us who maybe didn't get as much love in childhood.
We had to learn to love ourselves and sometimes we didn't know how to do that.
So I wanted to create this workshop to help us start to cultivate this love affair with ourselves,
To learn how to connect with this loving energy inside all of us and to fill our cups.
So if you're ready,
I invite you to find a comfortable spot where you won't be distracted and join me in this meditation.
Once you have gotten comfortable either sitting or laying down,
Take a moment and push yourself to get just a little bit more comfortable.
Once you have arrived,
Take a deep breath,
Hold it in,
Close your eyes and release.
As you come into stillness,
Notice the sensations in your body.
Notice what your thoughts are radiating around,
What is in the front of your mind.
Take a deep breath and allow your thoughts to continue.
Take note of what emotions come up for you.
You might have the urge to push some thoughts or feelings to the side or the urge to rush to meet the next thing.
Take note of these reactions and stay with your feelings in this moment.
Take a deep breath in and let it go slowly.
When we sit with our feelings and acknowledge them with love,
We allow them to pass.
We do this by saying the words,
May I be loved.
Continue taking deep breaths,
Expanding your stomach and focusing on the words.
May I be loved.
May I feel compassion.
May my heart open.
Follow your breath and focus on these words.
May I be loved.
May I feel compassion.
May my heart open.
As you let your breath return to a natural state,
Continue to send yourself love.
May I be loved.
May I feel compassion.
May my heart open.
As you do this,
Bring your attention to your heart.
Notice what you're feeling in this area.
It may be subtle.
It may be bright and warm.
Whatever this feeling is for you,
Focus here.
Take a deep breath and start to allow everything to melt away.
Keep your focus on your heart.
May I be loved.
May I feel compassion.
May my heart open.
As the room starts to fade away,
Notice if the feeling you are experiencing in your heart is growing stronger.
May I be loved.
May I feel compassion.
May my heart open.
Let your body slip away.
The only thing remaining in this room is the feeling emanating from your heart.
Be a ball of white light here.
Imagine this light is the love you are feeling.
As you breathe in,
See the white light begin to expand.
As the light expands,
Feel the stress leaving your body.
Breathe in love and compassion.
Breathe out everything that's been weighing on you.
There is nothing for you to hold onto here.
Let everything slip away except for the bright white light.
See yourself in a beautiful room.
The white light is illuminating the walls.
As the room becomes brighter,
You start to see the faces of the people you love.
You see their joy surrounding you.
Send them love by focusing on the words.
May you feel love.
May you feel compassion.
May your heart open.
Take a deep breath.
Focus on the growing white light.
Send the people you hold dear all your love.
May you feel love.
May you feel compassion.
May your heart open.
How is the feeling in your heart changing?
Send this feeling to everyone in the room.
Allow the white light to cover every inch of this room.
May you feel love.
May you feel compassion.
May your heart open.
Feel your sense of self expand.
As the bright,
Loving light grows brighter,
You start to realize there are more people in the room.
You see something special in these people.
When you move closer,
You start to see the faces of yourself in every stage of your life.
You see yourself as a child.
You see the spaces of yourself as you've grown.
Acknowledge yourself in the present and see the face of yourself in the future.
Send yourself love.
Let all your focus rest on these words.
May you feel love.
See that you've always been whole and deserving of love.
While focusing on all the faces of your past and present,
Feel yourself surrounded by the bright,
Beautiful white light.
Feel the light spreading through your body.
Feel its warm energy.
Focus on these words.
My love is the perfect love for me.
I am whole and complete.

Allow yourself to drift into your heart center.
Feel the sense of love and compassion you have cultivated.
You are the white light.
You are love.
Take a few moments and allow yourself to enjoy this experience.
When you are ready,
Allow yourself to bring this feeling with you into the present.
