Good morning,
Good evening,
Or good night depending on where you are right now.
I hope your day has gone so well up until this point,
And if it hasn't,
I hope we can use this time to kind of reset and realign,
Tap into that loving energy that is always available to us and use it to try to bring us back into the moment.
Take a minute to get as comfortable as possible.
You choose your position for this meditation.
Listen to your body and lay or sit in the way it is asking.
Once you've found a comfy position,
Take a nice deep breath and come into stillness.
I invite you to close your eyes.
Take another deep breath and hold it for just a second.
Let all your worries and stresses collect in your chest and on a big exhale let them all out.
Take a few more deep breaths,
Pausing at the top and slowly exhaling.
Let your body tell you how many deep breaths it needs.
Follow its guidance.
Take a moment here to pay attention to what's coming up for you.
Don't push it away.
We have a tendency to try to run from negative emotions or stress or to try to just push it away,
But I am inviting you to just sit with whatever comes up.
Try not to problem solve or to react,
But instead just allow the feelings to be.
If this starts to get hard,
Go back to your breath.
Ask yourself if these problems are in your control.
Is there something you can do to change the situation for yourself?
Is this problem out of your realm of control?
Is it something outside of yourself that you've just been bashing your head against the wall trying to gain control of?
We can only control ourselves.
We cannot control other people or outside circumstances.
Whatever it is,
I want you to focus on it as you take a deep breath.
On an exhale,
Blow this stressor or stressors into a big red balloon.
Give up control.
The only thing that matters is our consciousness.
Continue to take deep breaths and blow into this big red balloon until it is full.
Take one more tiny breath and release it into the balloon to make sure we have completely emptied all of our stress from our body.
Once all of our stress has been released,
Imagine tying the balloon closed with a white string.
Picture yourself sitting or lying in a beautiful field.
Hold the string in your hand as the balloon floats above your head.
Look up to the sky.
See that it is nighttime and the sky is filled with stars.
There are breathtaking amount of stars sparkling down at you.
Take the biggest breath you've taken all day.
Let the balloon go.
Watch the balloon float towards the stars,
Slowly,
Slowly drifting further away from you.
The further the balloon drifts,
The more relaxed you feel.
The balloon is starting to get smaller.
It is dancing its way across the sky,
Getting further and further as you feel more and more relaxed.
The balloon has drifted so far away you can no longer make out the string.
You feel the muscles around your eyes and in your forehead relax and get heavier.
The balloon drifts further and is becoming smaller and smaller.
You feel your arms and shoulders relax down.
They feel so heavy.
It feels almost impossible to move them.
The balloon has drifted so far it looks as if it is dancing with the clouds.
It is moving with ease in the breeze.
As it does,
You feel every muscle in your legs and your feet relax.
Your legs feel so heavy it feels near impossible to move them.
Your head,
Legs,
And arms are just so heavy now.
You feel as if you are sinking deeper into the ground.
The balloon has now drifted so far it is only a speck in the sky.
So small you can barely make out its bright red color.
As it drifts you feel every little muscle in your torso relax and become heavy.
The muscles in your hips and lower stomach release.
The muscles in your back and chest sink down and you feel your body sink deeper and deeper into the ground.
Your entire body feels so incredibly heavy.
You don't feel it is possible to move.
You feel your body sink deeper into the ground.
As you continue to sink the balloon disappears out of your sight and you realize you are surrounded by a warm loving white light.
As you sink deeper the light grows brighter around you.
Finally you sink down into an empty room.
You sit in the center of the room and you are so relaxed and so at peace.
Your white glowing light is illuminating the walls.
You realize the light is coming from your chest.
As you focus on your chest you feel love pouring out as the white light.
It is traveling down every inch of your body.
Focus on the feeling in your chest.
Focus on the feeling of love.
Try to grow the feeling.
Make the light brighter.
Use your breath to strengthen the light.
As you breathe into this area of your chest you are supplying more energy to grow your loving light brighter and stronger.
Use your exhale to release anything in your body that is blocking the light from expanding.
Focus all your energy into growing love inside of yourself.
You are glowing,
Pulsing with bright white light.
Continue to breathe into this.
Continue to grow the love in your chest.
Feel what it feels like in your toes,
Your legs,
Your stomach,
And your chest.
Feel the glowing love in your fingertips,
Your arms,
Your throat,
Your forehead.
Feel the love energy pulsing and traveling through every cell in your body.
Feel the energy pulsing from your chest.
Let this energy build until it is almost too much to bear,
Until it is almost too overwhelming,
Until you are bursting with love and gratitude.
Stay with this energy and know you are love.
This is your natural state.
This energy is always available to you.
You are so perfect.
You can tap into this loving energy whenever you need.
You deserve this.
You deserve to experience yourself in your natural state.
Take a few more breaths,
Feeling the energy in your chest.
You are going to bring this energy with you.
Continue to breathe into your center and as you brighten your light,
Begin to wiggle your toes.
Feel yourself rising back into the present.
Continue growing your light with your eyes closed until you feel completely back in the moment.
Open your eyes,
Take a deep breath,
Enjoy the rest of your day.
