Hello,
My name is Nicho and welcome to accountability and the courage to be who you are.
Take a moment to arrive,
Let your breath settle,
Let your body land wherever you are and give yourself permission to be exactly as you are.
This is the core ethos of this practice,
So really lean into this,
Lean into the permission to be exactly as you are,
Who you are.
This space is not for fixing or forcing change,
It's for meeting yourself honestly,
The parts that are proud,
The parts that struggle,
The parts you maybe wish you didn't have.
That's where real accountability begins.
Not with pressure to become some idealized version of yourself,
But with the courage to see who you already are clearly and to still stay in relationship with yourself.
Often,
We project an image of who we think we should be,
We craft a version of ourselves that feels more polished,
More impressive,
More worthy,
And then we spend our energy trying to catch up to that version,
Running toward an ideal,
Away from the raw,
Complicated,
Imperfect reality of who we are now.
But here's the thing,
Who you are now is good enough to meet.
Who you are now is worthy of love and reflection,
And from that honest meeting place,
Transformation becomes possible.
So let's begin there,
Breathe in gently,
And exhale slowly,
Allow your attention to settle inward.
I will be inviting a few questions for reflection.
You don't need to force answers,
Just let the questions settle in your awareness and see what arises.
If all expectations were stripped away,
Who are you?
Not the version of yourself shaped by other people's approval,
Not the polished image you post online,
But the raw,
Honest person sitting here now.
Who is that?
If all expectations were stripped away,
Who are you?
What do you truly desire?
Not what you're supposed to want,
But what actually stirs in you.
Maybe quietly,
Maybe imperfectly,
Maybe even something you don't fully understand yet.
And here's the thing,
Some desires might feel complicated,
Even taboo,
Even at odds with your values.
What do you do with those parts of yourself?
What do you truly desire?
And what do you do with those parts of yourself?
For now,
Just notice them.
You don't have to act on everything you feel,
But you also don't need to hate those parts of you.
Accountability means staying in honest relationship with your whole self,
The parts that shine,
The parts that struggle,
The parts that long for more.
It means loving the version of you that's proud and doesn't want to shrink.
It means loving the version that's still uncertain,
Or imperfect,
Or even hurting others sometimes.
It's knowing that none of those things are the end of your story.
Accountability is best lived out when paired with compassion and a willingness to grow.
So take a few breaths,
Holding space for your whole self,
The version that exists today,
The desires,
The uncertainties,
The longings,
Nothing to run from,
Nothing to rush.
You are in control.
You get to decide who you're becoming.
But who you are right now is already worthy of care.
Let your next inhale fill your chest gently,
And exhale,
Softening the jaw,
The shoulders,
And the whole body.
And as we close,
I urge you to remember,
You're allowed to be complex.
You're allowed to want more.
You're allowed to meet yourself honestly and still choose growth.
You're allowed to love all parts of yourself,
Even the shadow side.
Take one more steady breath in,
And exhale.
When you're ready,
Gently return to your space,
Carrying with you a little more compassion,
And the quiet reminder that accountability starts with being real and grows with love.
So be real and honest with yourself always,
And love all those parts of you that you discover.
Thank you for being here.
Live like dust,
Lit by fire.
