I'd like to share a very short micro meditation designed for work breaks,
Commutes or any time you need a quick reset.
Let's begin.
Take a moment to pause wherever you are.
Sit or stand comfortably,
Relax your shoulders and gently close your eyes if it's safe.
Take a slow deep breath in and exhale fully.
Let this be your little reset.
Bring attention to your body,
Notice the weight of your feet on the ground,
Your hands resting naturally and your spine supporting you.
Now focus on your breath.
Feel the inhale filling your lungs and the exhale releasing tension.
Let your breath be natural and steady.
With each exhale,
Imagine letting go of any stress or tightness you may be holding.
Notice any thoughts or worries that arise.
Without judging them,
Simply acknowledge them and let them drift away like clouds in the sky.
Bring your attention back to your breath,
Feeling calm and centred in this moment.
If your mind wanders,
Gently guide it back to the rhythm of your breathing.
Take one final deep breath in and exhale fully.
Now close your eyes,
Carrying this small moment of calm into the rest of your day.
Remember,
You can return to this pause anytime you need a quick refresh.
