My name is Natalie and today I will guide you through a full moon meditation.
The full moon is in Cancer.
Take a moment to settle in and connect with the nurturing energy of the full moon in Cancer.
Whether you want to sit down or lie down.
Maybe you want to grab some pillows,
A blanket.
Just make it as comfortable for yourself as you want right now.
Make sure you are in a space with limited to no distractions.
The full moon invites us to focus on emotional healing,
On self-care and strengthening our connection to home and loved ones.
It is a time to honor your inner world and release what no longer serves your emotional well-being.
If you haven't done so already,
I would like to invite you to close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in and sigh everything out through your mouth.
Again,
Take a deep breath in and sigh everything out.
Feel your connection with the crowns.
And see if there are any things you would like to adapt right now.
Now slowly bring your attention to the top of your head.
Softening any tension.
Move your awareness down to your face.
Relax your jaw.
And then down to your neck and your shoulders.
Let go of any weight you've been carrying.
Feel the relaxation flow down your right arm,
Elbow,
Wrist,
Right hand,
And fingers.
Now flowing down from your left arm,
Elbow,
Wrist,
Left hand,
And fingers.
Bring your awareness to your chest.
Feel how your chest expands with every inhale.
And feel it falling with every exhale.
And bring your awareness to your stomach.
And then bring your awareness to the back of your body.
From your neck all the way down to your mid-back.
Lower back.
And bring your awareness to your sitting bones.
To your hips,
Your right hip,
Left hip.
All the way to your pelvic area.
To your right leg,
Right knee.
Bring your awareness to the space between the back of your knee and the ground if you're lying down.
All the way down to your calf muscles,
Your ankle,
Your heel,
Top of your foot,
Big toe,
Second toe,
Third toe,
Fourth toe,
Fifth toe.
Now bring your awareness to your left leg,
Your upper thigh,
Your left knee,
The space between the back of your knee and the ground,
Your calf muscles,
Your left ankle,
Your heel,
The top of your foot,
Big toe,
Second toe,
Third toe,
Fourth toe,
Fifth toe.
And now imagine your entire body being completely relaxed.
From your feet to the crown of your head.
From the crown of your head all the way down your feet.
Feel grounded and supported by the earth.
Now place your hands over your heart.
The right one can be on top of the left one.
Or the left one can be on top of the right one.
Just do what naturally feels good for you.
And take a moment to reflect on what you'd like to release during this full moon.
And what you want to invite in.
Silently or out loud set your intention.
For example,
I release old emotional patterns and welcome self-compassion.
I let go of fear and embrace love and connection.
Just tune in with your intentions for this full moon and cancer.
Imagine yourself now standing by the ocean under the glow of the full moon.
The silver light dances on the water surface,
Illuminating everything around you.
With clarity and calm.
As you stand there,
The gentle waves wash over your feet.
Carrying away any heaviness or lingering emotions.
Feel the soothing energy of the moon above.
Wrapping you in its nurturing embrace.
Picture yourself opening your heart to this energy.
Allowing it to cleanse and replenish you.
The ocean's rhythm reminds you of your own emotional flow.
Constant and natural.
You are safe to feel.
You are safe to heal.
You are safe to grow.
Now repeat out loud or silently.
I honor my feelings and create space for joy.
Once more.
I honor my feelings.
And create space for joy.
Now visualize yourself stepping into the moonlight.
Feeling radiant,
Balanced and renewed.
And then slowly take a deep breath in.
Drawing in the moon's calming and nurturing energy.
And exhale completely.
Grounding yourself in the present moment.
And then slowly bring your awareness back to your body.
Wiggle your fingers and your toes.
And if you're lying down,
Hug your knees into your chest.
And roll over to one side using one of your hands as a pillow for your head.
Take a moment to integrate today's full moon meditation.
Thank yourself for this moment.
For taking a moment to breathe.
For taking this time for yourself.
And remain with your eyes closed.
And gently push yourself up into a seated meditative position.
And before we end this full moon meditation,
I would like to share three tips how you can integrate cancer's full moon energy into your daily life.
Prioritize self-care.
Dedicate time to nurture yourself.
Maybe you have access to a bath.
Take a relaxing bath.
Meditate or enjoy comforting activities that make you feel cared for.
Second,
I would like to invite you to connect with your emotions.
Journaling can help you process your feelings.
Write about what you're ready to release and what you want to welcome in.
And then as well,
Strengthen your emotional bonds.
Spend quality time with loved ones or reach out to someone close.
Share your appreciation for them and deepen your connections.
Let this sink in for a moment.
And now when you're ready,
I want to ask you to take a deep breath in.
Filling up your chest and belly with air.
And we're going to end this meditation with one Aum and three Shanties.
