Transcript

Hello and welcome to today's breathing meditation.

Today we're going to be practicing taking the breath slower and more gentle and more ease-filled.

So make sure you're in a nice comfortable position,

Preferably seated cross-legged sukhasana or easy pose,

Or seated in a chair with your feet planted firmly on the ground.

Today's breath we will be practicing will be inhaled through the nose and exhaled through the nose or mouth,

Whatever feels more natural to you.

We'll be doing an even inhale and exhale and it will be guided by the music.

And so as the music begins here shortly,

We will take our first inhale as soon as you hear the prompt.

So inhale,

Exhale,

Inhale,

Exhale.

To go with ease,

Extending that exhale.

Exhale,

Exhale,

Exhale.

One,

Inhale,

Exhale.

Thank you for joining this breath meditation today.

Conscious hold of your breath,

Extending it,

Giving yourself the chance to slow down.

I hope you have a wonderful day.

This was a powerful yet approachable breathwork meditation. Typically I go for 2-5 minute meditations, so I was a little reluctant with this one. But the rhythmic music made it super easy to be focused and present the entire ten minutes. It really helped to create awareness in my breathe and quiet my mind. I ended with some insights which was incredible. Thank you!
