Hello and welcome to today's meditation,
Being the Hollow Bone.
This short meditation will guide you to open up your vessel to feel that flow of spirit,
Of light,
Of breath through you.
Many cultures worldwide have the idea of this open vessel that we are for passage through us,
Our divinity and our humanity,
And this two-way movement that flows through us.
So get a nice comfortable seat or lay down in a way that your back can be nice and straight.
We're going to start by bringing just some awareness and some breath into the belly.
Think real low in the belly below the belly button and just allow the breath to move there.
And as you begin bringing some breath into that belly,
Imagine you are pulling those breaths up through your root,
The tip of the tailbone.
And as you exhale,
That breath passes all the way through you,
Out through the top of your head,
Your crown.
And for the next few moments,
We're going to allow the breath to move in that way,
Feeling it pulling through the root and out through the crown.
Just allow that movement to happen.
See that visualization of flow through you.
You may notice some areas,
If you feel a little more dense,
A little stuck,
That's okay.
Just keep the breath moving.
Allow that flow to move around those areas.
Just opening and allowing the breath to move.
In through the root and out through the crown.
In through the root and out through the crown.
And as we are these two-way vessels to allow love,
Light,
Flow,
Breath,
And spirit through us,
We can also pull that breath in through the crown and out through the root,
Bringing in higher self or divinity and allowing that to pass through and out through our humanity.
So those big clearing breaths in through the crown,
Out through the root.
In through the crown,
Out through the root.
And clearing space,
Opening our vessel for flow,
Clearing our filters out.
And for these last few moments of this meditation today,
Allow the breath,
With each breath,
To change directions.
In through the root,
Out through the crown.
And in through the crown,
Out through the root.
Feeling that flow,
That two-way communication with our energy,
Our spirit,
Our light.

To clear your filters,
To open your vessel.

Come back to that practice of opening yourself up and flowing that breath through you.
