This meditation helps you acknowledge and release anger by using mindful breathing and visualization techniques. By recognizing anger without judgment and intentionally letting it go, you create space for calm and clarity. With each breath, you move away from tension and toward inner peace.

Transcript

Today let's work on letting go of anger.

So find a comfortable position,

Either sitting or lying down,

And slowly close your eyes.

Take a deep breath in,

And exhale.

Take another deep breath in through your nose.

Allow your body to relax as you settle into this moment.

Now start to bring to mind whatever is causing anger within you.

Notice it without judgment.

Acknowledge how it feels in your body.

Does it appear as heat in your face?

Tension in your hands?

Tightness in your chest?

Anxiety in your stomach?

Tightness in your neck?

Just acknowledge where it is appearing in your body.

Now take a deep breath in,

Imagining your breath as a cool wave,

Soothing and calming.

On your next exhale,

Picture the anger leaving your body like a dark cloud drifting away.

Let's just stay with that imagery for a while.

On your inhale,

Your breath becomes a cool wave,

Soothing and calming.

And on your exhale,

Your anger leaves your body just like a dark storm cloud drifting off.

Exhale anger.

Now silently repeat to yourself the following statements.

I release what no longer serves me.

I release what no longer serves me.

I choose peace over anger.

I choose peace over anger.

I let go and open my heart to calm.

I let go and open my heart to calm.

And with every breath you take,

Feel yourself becoming lighter and lighter.

Let go of the need to hold onto the anger.

Imagine it dissolving,

Replaced by this new sense of ease and clarity.

And take one last deep breath in and slowly exhale.

Feel the peace within you.

And whenever you're ready,

Gently open your eyes,

Carrying this sense of calm and peace forward.

That was really beautiful and very helpful. I carry a lot of anger and this felt like it released some of that and opened the door to peace. Thank you!
