Here is Nathalie and I will guide you today through healing and relaxing meditation,

The inner smile.

This meditation will cause a deep state of relaxation which can dissolve the physical and mental tension that might cause blockages and a normal flow of energy.

This meditation is inspired from the Taoist tradition.

The inner smile amplifies the energy of all the internal organs and glands and improves steer functions.

So before we start,

Why it actually is called inner smile.

So we'll be smiling actually to our internal organs and thanking them for their work.

And we will increase the harmony and the entire structure of the body.

This technique can help us to learn to detect already in the early stages any disharmony in our body so that we can increase the chances of our fast recovery.

This meditation when done regularly can help us to be more aware of our body.

You can learn more about yourself,

Acknowledge more your strong and weak points and create a more realistic picture about yourself.

This meditation helps us to accept ourselves as we are and helps us to extend this capacity over the others as well.

This meditation reduces the effects of distress and protects yourself against the negative influences coming from the outside.

Over the time you can even learn to transform the negative feelings or emotions into the positive ones.

We can start a meditation by sitting in a comfortable position or laying down into the shavasana position where feet are slightly apart,

Arms are apart from the body too and the whole body is relaxed.

You can start your relaxation by smiling into your spine.

You can slowly start bending your spine sideways from the lower part,

From pelvis to the more upward regions.

You can feel each vertebra moving from side to side.

Feel the spine relaxed and warm,

Radiating maybe a slight light.

Now we will smile into the frontal part.

So for this we'll relax our forehead and feel the energy of your smile accumulating in front of your eyes as a golden light.

Imagine the feelings when you enter a beautiful garden for instance.

You can try to preserve this attitude.

You can project the image of your own smile,

Smiling face in front of you.

Feel the energy of your smile radiating as a sun.

Now try to absorb the energy of the smile through the third eye chakra which is above your eyebrows.

Now let the energy fluid into the entire face.

It relaxes your skin and warms up the entire face.

Allow it to permeate your mouth and lift gently the corners of your mouth.

Now move the tongue along the gums in a circular motion to activate the flux of saliva.

When you have already more saliva in your mouth,

You can swallow it and we will use this saliva as an agent moving the energy throughout your body.

So now smile gently to your throat,

To the thyroid glands and feel the throat opening as a flower while the energy is moving any tension from that region.

Now put your attention into the thymus gland.

Now smile to your heart and thank it for circulating the blood in your body.

Include at this level the impatience into love,

Respect and compassion.

Smile now into your lungs and express your gratitude that they oxygenate the body.

As they assimilate the energy of the smile,

Feel them becoming more soft and transform any sadness or depression into courage and justice.

Now smile and thank your liver for its role playing in digestion and transform any anger into kindness.

Now move your inner smile into the left side of your body and thank pancreas for regulating the sugar in the blood and the spleen for generating antibodies.

In this area,

Convert any anxiety into honesty.

Now smile into your kidneys and thank them for filtering the blood.

Now thank your genital organs for producing hormones and generating the sexual energy.

Now accumulate all these beautiful energy and high vibrations and all the virtues or positive feelings accumulated until now in a unique energy,

Which you will now store in the navel region where your belly button lies.

Now return your focus at eye level and scan quickly again this frontal path if there is still some tension,

Smile into this point and wait until it's relieved.

Now we will move into medial path.

So once again,

Become aware of the smile energy in your eyes and the point in between the eyebrows.

You can again circle the tongue over the gums to generate more saliva and swallow it.

Follow the saliva along the way to the stomach.

Thank the stomach for digesting the food and feel it relaxing while the energy permeates it.

Now smile to the gout bladder and the small intestines.

Next,

Smile into your large intestines and your bladder.

Thank the bladder for collecting and eliminating the urine.

Now return your focus at eye level.

Scan quickly the whole medial path,

Checking the digestive and evacuation organs for any tension.

We will now move to the last path,

The rear path,

Smiling along the spine.

So again,

Absorb more energy through your closed eyes and the third eye between your eyebrows.

Activate again the saliva and as you swallow it,

Lift the smile energy towards the brain.

Smile to the left and right hemisphere to balance them.

Move the inner smile energy along the spine all the way down to the sacrum.

Feel the spine extending,

The vertebral discs softening and the whole back relaxing.

Return your focus now at eye level and scan quickly the whole rear path.

Through this,

You will calm down the nervous system.

Now you maybe feel the whole body relaxed.

Now we will smile along the all three paths simultaneously.

You can start from the eyes,

Move the inner smile along the frontal,

Medial and rear path all at the same time,

Basically scanning the whole body.

Feel the energy descending over your body as a torrent of love and peace.

Become aware how the skin,

The muscles and the bones relax while the whole body calms down.

Finally,

Collect and store the energy in the navel region,

Into your belly button region.

This is a very important last step of this practice.

You can try to visualize a mental spiral movement of all the collected energy around the belly button region in order to center it at this level and preserve it here.

This is very grounding and balancing.

While you might feel highly energized,

Try to preserve this energy throughout the day.

I wish you a beautiful day.
