In today's meditation,

We will talk about healing heartbreak.

Today's meditation is here to help you start anew.

A fresh page,

A new beginning,

Focused on self-love.

Self-nurturing.

Gratitude for how far we have come,

Despite all the challenges that life has thrown at us.

Today,

We celebrate the opportunity to breathe in deeply everything that has transpired in the story of our lives.

And we take a moment to pay homage to our past experiences.

To the people who have come for a reason or a season,

And who have left after playing their parts in the journey of our lives.

We grieve the loss of them before we step on our new landings.

I would like us to take time out to really thank those who have come and left.

Everyone who has crossed our path has come here to teach us something new.

When we are grieving the loss of someone,

It is easy to fall into the trap of blame,

Regret,

Or sadness.

I'd like to invite you to celebrate the blessed presence of those who are no longer in our lives.

For they too have encountered us on their paths.

And they too have been touched by our presence and the gift of our time and love.

Close your eyes and breathe with me.

Feel your lungs opening up with fresh air and blissful health.

Take a breath of gratitude,

A breath of peace and acceptance.

A breath in loving kindness of the amazing mysterious thing called our lives.

Tilt your head back and looking up at the sky,

Surrender yourself to the universe and its plan for you.

Let go for a moment of any thoughts and lingering pain.

Just focus on giving yourself into the wide expanse of love,

Of energy from which you were born from.

Surrendering yourself completely to a power greater than your conscious mind can fathom.

Give in,

Give in.

Give in,

My loves.

Melt into it.

Let go,

My loves.

Let it all out.

If tears stream down your face,

Welcome them.

They are here to help you heal.

Let them pour freely down your cheeks.

Allow your tears to rest on your lashes for as long as they need to be there.

Allow your tears to cleanse your aching heart,

For letting go sometimes comes with great pain.

Cry for as long as it takes to release.

Release.

Grieve for what is lost.

You have the right to grieve.

You have every right to seek healing from being hurt.

Allow yourself permission for the cracks in your heart to let light in.

Even if those growing pains feel discomforting,

Remember they carry a message for you.

Your beautiful,

Precious heart deserves healing,

It deserves love,

It deserves to heal,

And it deserves to start afresh.

And now,

I'd like to guide you through a few steps in the practice of healing heartbreak.

Let's start by taking a deep breath.

Using your imagination,

Imagine the person you've lost.

Visualize them standing in front of you right now.

Notice their face,

The color of their eyes,

The shape of their nose,

Their smile,

Their scent,

And the sound of their voice.

That's right.

And when you are ready,

I'd like you to invite them into your space with love and compassion.

Take a moment to remember all the good times shared with them,

The reason you first invited them into your life,

The beautiful memories shared,

The laughter and stolen moments,

The kisses and hugs,

The comfort of their touch.

Bask in it willfully.

Tell them how you feel,

Even if it hurts to do so.

The pain is your way out.

And when you feel the warmth of these memories inside of your heart,

Open your eyes and look directly at them.

Remind them why you both parted ways.

Return to them all the parts which you had borrowed from each other.

Any deposits of lingering energy,

Heartaches,

And memories which need to be restored in their rightful place.

Return them all.

Take your time to exchange what was lost in the journey of meeting and parting.

My dear love,

Pay attention to how you feel and lean into your emotions,

Lean into how you're feeling at this very moment.

Stay in the present and just allow.

Open and allow.

And when you are ready,

Wish them goodbye,

For their part in your life is now complete,

As is yours and theirs.

It is time for you to heal.

It is time for you to rejuvenate.

It is time for you to wake up to a new beginning,

A new start,

Space to welcome something new.

You are worthy and you are loved.

Put both your hands on your heart and thank your heart for accompanying you relentlessly every single day,

Every single moment of your life.

Holding you and keeping you safe.

You are safe and all is well.
