I invite you to close your eyes.
Or have a soft gaze if you decide to keep them open.
Let's take a few deep breaths here.
Inhaling through your nose.
Exhaling through your mouth Relaxing your body with each breath.
For today's meditation,
I wanted Do help.
Ground myself.
And everyone that joins.
After a very energetic full moon.
That has just passed.
So the idea is that all of the energy that was created within us from the full moon We can help channel that into our core.
And bring some grounding.
For our mind,
Our body,
Our heart.
So I invite you to imagine that with each breath in,
The roots.
From all of the trees around you.
This starts.
To come out of the ground and intertwining.
Around your feet around your legs,
Your knees.
Your thighs.
And as they intertwine your body,
They allow you to relax.
Trusting that the earth supports you.
Intertwining around your hips,
Your pelvic region.
Your stomach.
Your chest.
Your arms and your shoulders.
Wrapping themselves around your neck.
Your face.
And the crown of your head.
So that now you are fully.
Intertwined by these roots,
This green.
Luscious roots.
Almost as if they have formed a cocoon around you.
Allowing you to fully Behold.
Allowing all of that energy that's been exerted.
To come to arrest.
And also allowing your whole being to just float.
To just be.
As you hang.
In this protected,
Safe cocoon.
Inhaling through your nose and slowly exhaling further.
Into groundedness.
Into relaxation.
Taking a few deep breaths here.
Allowing yourself to exhale out.
Any excess energy.
Tension.
Tightness.
And remembering with each breath that you can always access this cocoon.
That the earth will always support you.
The breath.
Will allow you to rest.
To grow.
And healing.
Mmmmm.
