I'm Nara and this meditation is here to help you connect with the energy of Taurus.
Taurus is the earth sign that's ruled by Venus,
So it's associated with the wonderful delights that Venus brings us in the earthly realm.
Taurus loves things that it can touch,
So its abundant creativity is often channeled into things that can be handmade,
But since this sign is linked to the throat,
You'll find that there are some really amazing Taurus singers as well.
Symbolized by the bull,
Taurus is a fixed sign,
So it's great at sticking with things if it wants to.
It can be slow and steady,
And it's a great sign to learn to look to to rest and do much needed self-care,
Because it takes its downtime very seriously.
As a springtime earth sign,
Taurus also loves to be close to nature,
Especially in the garden,
And it's also associated with the resources that give us sustenance,
Such as food.
But Taurus also has the unique ability to continuously sprout fresh ideas.
With its unique Venusian groundedness,
Taurus keeps the world full of ever-renewing beauty and bounty.
So as you deepen into your breath,
Beginning to allow each inhale and each exhale to be a little longer and a little more spacious,
I want you to imagine that you are in a beautiful verdant garden.
It's springtime,
And all around you the plants are blooming radiantly under a brilliant blue sky.
Take a few moments to imagine the sensation of the earth and grass under your feet,
The petals of a flower on your fingers,
And the warmth of the sun on your face.
With each breath,
Allowing yourself to become more relaxed and more restful.
And now,
Somewhere in this beautiful garden,
I want you to find your own special place to linger.
Maybe it's a bench or a rock,
Maybe it's a patch of soft green grass where you can lie down.
Wherever it is,
I want you to stop there,
And for the next couple of minutes,
Allow your physical body to continue to unwind.
With each in-breath and out-breath,
Moving closer to a state of inner and outer tranquility.
And now,
Allow your consciousness to gently come back to this world,
Retaining the sense of relaxation and renewal that only Taurus can bring.
